Photofeed Contest - Macrophotography Round 107 - Pentatomidae
Hi hivers. On this occasion, I would like to share the results of macrophotography hunting around the house two days ago. A leaf ladybug, or--referring to Wikipedia--in Latin is known as Pentatomidea, was casually perched on a blade of grass when I started looking for a photo object.
My attention was drawn to this insect, especially after seeing the details of its color. If usually the leaf ladybugs that I often find in the bushes when I go hunting are mostly monotonous, blackish brown, but this one looks a bit different.
I immediately focused my attention on it. When trying to direct the camera device with the addition of an external macro lens, this insect did not feel disturbed at all. I was freer to shoot it, although the afternoon wind that was blowing a bit hard made the shooting process this time really require extra patience.
After waiting for a while for the strong wind to subside, and my photo object was no longer swaying so that I could re-focus the lens on it. I photographed this insect from several angles, the results are as you can see below.
All photos are mine, taken by Samsung A51 + external macro lens. The text written in Bahasa and translated by Google Translate.
My congrats
Has it ever opened its elytra and flown away? It appears to have bright aquamarine or violet wings. Thanks for sharing these photos.
