The Happy Corner of the Park

Today I escaped. Not from something bad, but from the routine, the messages, the noise. I walked aimlessly until I reached this little paradise of trees and sun. As soon as I set foot on the grass, I knew I'd made the right choice.

The sky was a brilliant blue, the kind that looks freshly painted, and the trees... what a sight! Some were still green, rebellious, and others had already lit up in shades of orange and gold as if celebrating an autumn party. I laughed to myself at the thought that autumn was the happiest season of all, even though many say otherwise.

I lay down on the grass, closed my eyes, and felt the warmth of the sun on my face. I could hear leaves rustling, birds chattering, and every now and then, a breeze caressed the branches as if inviting them to dance. I had nothing to do, and that made me smile even more.

In the distance, I saw the stone bench. "It's your turn next," I said softly, as if he were an old friend waiting his turn. For now, the ground held me gently.

It was a simple moment, yes, but full of those little touches that make everything sparkle. I promised myself I'd come back with a blanket, a snack, and maybe a good book... although I know I'll end up forgetting again, because this place speaks to me, fills me, and makes me feel happy.
