Afri-tunes Week 144 || Two Songs Meshed up
Hey guys welcome to my blog and also welcome to another exciting week. This week I will be going a song more of a meshed up of two songs of Panam Percy Paul from his Albom which tagged bring down the glory 4. This two songs are
(1). Open my eyes
(2). Sing O ye barren
The first song is a declaration of surrender, inviting the Spirit of God to enter our lives. The repetition of "my heart is open to you" actually emphasizes the willingness to listen and obey.
The second part of the lyrics references Isaiah 54:1, which says, "Sing, O barren woman, you who never bore a child; burst into song, shout for joy..." This verse is a promise of hope and joy, reminding us that God can bring new life and blessings even in the most challenging situations.
Lyrics
Yes Lord
Yes Lord
Open my eyes that I may see
Open my ears that I may hear
Open my heart that I may know
What the spirit of God will say
Open my eyes that I may see
Open my ears that I may hear
Open my heart that I may know
What the spirit of God will say
my heart is open to you
my heart is open to you
my heart is open to you
to the spirit of God right now
my heart is open to you
my heart is open to you
my heart is open to you
to the spirit of God right now
Sing o ye barren
For the Lord descends on me
Sing o ye barren
For the Lord descends on me
Sing o ye barren
For the Lord descends on me
Sing o ye barren
For the Lord descends on me
