Thanksgiving

The road's been long, the air's grown cold,
The stars above look tired, old.
But the porch light flickers, warm and wide,
And I know I've found my yuletide guide.
Pumpkin pie on the windowsill,
Turkey's roasting, the house is still,
'Til laughter bursts like a fiddle’s cry—
Home’s a song, and I’m the reply.
[Chorus]
Happy Thanksgiving, I’m here at last,
The future’s uncertain, but the present’s vast.
With crypto earned and posts well-spun,
On Blurt we thrive, with a wink and a pun.
[Verse 2]
Mama’s laugh, a cabaret tune,
Papa hums low, a junkyard croon.
The cello groans like an autumn breeze,
The viola whispers secrets to the trees.
Auntie's stories, surreal and wild,
Uncle’s grin, like a mischief child.
The accordion swells, the turkey’s carved,
In this feast of love, we’ve all starved.
[Prechorus]
Blogging dreams, a digital stream,
Short films flicker in a crypto gleam.
