Sun, Too Much Sun
Summer by the sea means sun, water, and sand. The sea and the beach under the hot rays of the sun... For decades I was there, on the beach. Now it's been decades since I'm no longer on the beach and I don't use to walk on the hot sand.
I think you'll do the math and wonder if my name is Methuselah because I'm talking about so many decades (for those who don't know, Methuselah is a character in the Bible who lived for about 900 years).
No, I'm not Methuselah, but I'm old enough to fit in about thirty years of beach time and another twenty years of walking by the beach (and I hope there will be a few more...)
The sun is to blame, too much sun lately... so much that it's forced its way into my camera and ruined a series of beach and seaside shots.
That's what I wrote about yesterday,How stupid was I or... Can you stand a few overexposed photos?, if anyone would be interested in context.
Yesterday I showed the photos from the beach that I ruined, not because of the sun, as said above, but because of me forgetting the shadow setting of the lens and... taking photos in full light! I didn't use all these photos and said I'll post them again, which is now!
Here is the line between the park and the beach. At Albena, Bulgaria's Black Sea resort.
With my feet in the sea trying to capture people enjoying the sand, water, and sun!
Some bad photos I tried to give a little chance of life.
Some umbrellas and sun loungers
To turn or not to turn our backs on the world?
I hope these are my last overexposed photos.
Will some underexposed ones follow?
Even if they look like bad photos sometimes I see that they are not so bad, it's as if they have a different filter and I loved this one in particular!
Thank you. I've been able to fix a few things, but none of them completely. I can't or, more likely, I don't know how to use the editing program.
Actually it can't be solved at all, but with photoshop there is something that helps, menu image - adjustments - curves- This measures the shadow and light curves, you can try with that.
I use Lightroom but haven't tried to learn too much, I usually do simple retouching.
I don't retouch simply if it comes out too dark I fix it by giving it some highlights or contrast but nothing else, although I try not to do it.
Just like that temperature is running 50 inside our city and July 21 was the highest temperature and it's very hot so that's the thing if you want to avoid it you have to go to a similar place and some time. It will pass peacefully.
Yes, everything is heating up in our world.
All your photos are good but I'm more interested in this one
You made a very good choice, thank you!
You're welcome.
