Seed Starting Tour, February
** February Seed Starting Tour!**
It took FOREVER for winter to really leave. (kinda not really gone yet, tho)
I start my ONION seeds indoors early February. I start my peppers, mid February, and some of my PLUM-type TOMATO seeds mid February. Start chitting out (greening out; getting eyes started) on my Potato Mid February. AND, start my Sweet Potato Slips Mid February, too.
I SEE GREEN!
Onions are starting to grow... see the tiny pointy leaves?
First, I get them to grow, tiny seedlings, and then, in a couple weeks, I will give them a slight haircut!

It’s so good to see your Post!!
Grow, grow, grow, Gardner Blue!!
Wow. You’ll have plenty of vegetables soon!
Yay, winter is on the way out and yes, spring is fast approaching. You and I have a similar setup for seed starting. The plants look great, and you will soon have them outside. Happy Gardening!
Nice reminder I need to get going on seeds. The winter drags on here. Hard to even believe spring is coming 😅 I finally finished up the tomatoes from the freezer so time to get going. Sun room sounds like a nice "finishing school" to get tomatoes a little bigger before planting. We have grow lights and heating pads so light and temp isn't a problem but space becomes an issue.
