I am back with another travel tale. This time, I'm taking you to the vibrant fields of Bahong Sunflower Farm in La Trinidad, Benguet. Now, I know what you're thinking. "You've already told us about the sunflowers!" And yes, I have. But trust me, there's so much more to this place than just its namesake. But today, though, I am going to highlight a few more of the farm's gorgeous flower fields, because they're too pretty not to share!

By the way, there's a minimal entrance fee of Php100 (roughly $2 USD) per person. Yeah, I think it was 100 or 120 or something like that. Right after the entrance were the gorgoeus sunflower fields, but aside from that, they also have wide fields of Petunias, Wax Begonias, Pascuitas, Mediterranean Cypresses, Mums, Lipstick Plants, and Poinsettias in red, yellow, and pink—it's like walking into a living, breathing painting. And the best part? You can walk all day in these flower fields and never get tired of it. The mountains that cradle the farm are a sight to behold, a stark contrast to the flat landscapes of the Lowlands, where I usually hang out.

Each flower field has its own unique charm. The petunias, with their vibrant hues and delicate petals, are a sight to behold. The wax begonias, with their glossy leaves and bright flowers, add a touch of exotic beauty to the landscape. The Pascuitas, with their star-shaped flowers, seem to twinkle in the sunlight. The Mediterranean cypresses, with their tall, slender forms, stand like sentinels, watching over the fields. The mums, with their dense clusters of flowers, create a sea of color that stretches as far as the eye can see. The lipstick plants, with their striking red flowers, add a pop of color to the greenery. And the poinsettias, with their vibrant red, yellow, and pink bracts, are a festive sight, especially during the Christmas season.

The mountains that cradle the farm are a sight to behold, a stark contrast to the flat landscapes of the Lowlands, where I usually hang out. Bahong Sunflower Farm is nestled in La Trinidad, Benguet, just an hour or less away from the bustling city of Pines, Baguio City. It's a bit of a journey, but trust me, it's worth every minute. The journey to the farm is an adventure in and of itself. The road winds through the mountains, offering breathtaking views of the landscape. The air is fresh and crisp, a welcome change from the pollution of the city. And the closer you get to the farm, the more beautiful the scenery becomes. This visit was a special one for me. It was a delightful Christmas adventure with my daughter. We spent almost an hour exploring the farm, taking in the sights, and making memories that I'll cherish forever. We strolled through the flower fields, marveling at the variety of plants. We took countless photos, trying to capture the beauty of the place.

So, if you're ever in the area, do yourself a favor and pay a visit to Bahong Sunflower Farm. It's more than just a farm; it's a place where you can lose yourself in the beauty of the flowers, where you can breathe in the fresh mountain air, and where you can feel the warmth of the sun on your skin. It's a place where you can forget about the stresses of daily life, if only for a while. For me, it was a perfect Christmas adventure—something that was far from the crowd and closer to nature.
