I've come to the conclusion that one of the most difficult aspects of growing up is that we are entirely responsible for our own motivation. We are responsible for getting down on all the crap we feed ourselves constantly. It is draining. Sigh! Over the course of the past few years, I've honed my ability to justify why I don't frequently need to run errands, including all of the responsibilities that come with being a full-time mom, or perform any of the seemingly endless tasks that come with being an adult. It's so easy to get caught up in being busy all the time.

Anyway...

Yesterday was kind of busy for me compared to my ordinary days. As usual, I get up around 3 a.m. (but again, I turn my alarm on at 3:15, then 3:30, lol). That's my prayer time, coffee, preparing breakfast, and all that comes in between before dropping my daughter off at school at 6:30 a.m. As we walked out our house door past 6 a.m., the beautiful farmland sunrise showed up in front of us. One of the best ways for me to start the day is by greeting the sun. Every time I see or watch the sun rise, I get an unexplainable feeling of happiness that makes me want to sit there for hours.

I saw this huge, pretty, vivid, flamboyant tree with its flowers showing off behind one of the small "talipapas" on the road as we rode the public trike to school. It was stunning, but we were moving so quickly that I was unable to take any more pictures. Some call this tree a "Fire" or "Flame" tree. I am sure you guys have seen one.

After dropping off my daughter, I headed straight to town to pay my utilities (electricity and internet) at the municipal hall. I use a virtual wallet to pay my bills most of the time, but it wasn't available at the moment, and I didn't plan to put off paying my bills for a day either. The reception desk's chandelier caught my attention when I arrived at the office. Because there were a lot of people walking around, I was hesitant to take a picture, but I still managed to sneak one, haha.

This week is our town fiesta, and as I left the office, I noticed these float trucks parked in the parking lot. I believe these were the winners for the best float parade contest, but I was not able to watch the float parade personally. I am not a huge fan of crowds. So then, I took a few snaps under the sun and headed straight to the market. On my way, there were a few "ukay-ukay" stalls around. Ukay-ukay means digging in English. These are thrifted or pre-owned clothes being sold for a cheaper price.

I likewise needed to stop at a one-stop meat shop nearby and get a few chicken wings and eggs. I then hired a tricycle to go back home. It was cracking hot and humid out, and the air that blew all over me while on the trike was incredible.

Wahhh Farmland Sunrise and Flamboyant Tree is so beautiful! I so love it UwU. I really watch sunrise yong talagang maeenjoy ko ba not like here samin na puro harang na ng building haha walang perfect spot tp watch it.

It's so easy to get caught up in being busy all the time.

I totally understand that feeling. And sometimes it can be overwhelming.

What nice captures you made in your daily itinerary. There are a lot of Flamboyant trees here, they just haven't flowered yet at this time of year. And I love the colorfulness of that float.

Such an interesting walk, and a busty one it seems

being run down recently has made me slow down and not be rushing about so much and I realized I was not that productive with my time and often was rushing about needlessly, and have been good at slowing down and not wasting time and energy so much lets see if I can stick with that

I was walking in the rain yesterday sis on my way to fetch our youngest daughter at school. And we were both walking in the heavy rain back. 😁 Though we rode on a tricycle halfway but still wet lol

I'm glad you had accomplished all your errands. By the way I envy you with the sunrise view. I don't get to see the sun in my place when it rises . 🙂
