National Aspin Day: My Wonder Aspin Sofia Showing Some Love

A pleasant weekend, yall, my amazing hooman friends!

So yesterday was the very first National Aspin Day, particularly here in the Philippines! It is indeed an extraordinary day for Filipino dog lovers, especially those with Aspin fur babies like me, as the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) declares August 18 as National Aspin Day. Aspin (Asong Pinoy) does not have specific ancestors that contributed to what they look like today, and there is no specific look for the Aspin breed, but mostly, they are medium-sized dogs.

It's already the 19th here in the Philippines but still the 18th in other parts of the globe, so I am here to share a photo of me and my wonder Aspin SOFIA and to wish her a happy national Aspin Day. I swear, I would be lost without her. She loves me at my worst, she loves me at my best, and she never, ever lets me feel alone in this chaotic, crazy world. I don't know what I did right to deserve her, but I will forever be grateful. I swear, I don't mind distancing from humans, though; I've been doing that most of my life lol. As long as I can hang with my wonder dog Sofia or just any dog in general, I'll get through the rest of this year. No joke right there!
