Happy Monday, y'all amazing people!

It's been a long time since I wrote my last post. Sorry, I have been too preoccupied, and I still am, but I am stopping by today to share a little update on our journey to opening our family business - it's a small Kubo (teepee) camp, and we named it "Glowbu Kabins." The past few months have been a real test of our resilience. Every week, a typhoon would roll in and slow our construction progress. We've had to deal with delays, setbacks, and more than a few moments of wondering if we'd ever see the light at the end of the tunnel. But you know what? We're determined to create something special for you - a place where you can escape the hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature. And we're so close! We're putting the finishing touches on our Kubo cabins, and we're already dreaming up all the amazing experiences we'll be able to offer you.

We've been busy building six humble kubo cabins, each perfect for couples, backpackers, or solo adventurers looking to escape the city and reconnect with nature. Our kubo cabins are surrounded by tropical trees, and on the other side is the beach, so you can easily spend your days soaking up the sun, catching waves, or simply relaxing with a good book. We're putting the finishing touches on everything, making sure each kubo is comfortable and inviting. We're talking air conditioning, cozy beds, and even some welcome amenities like towels, soap, shampoo, and blankets. We're also adding a little bit of our personal touch—my husband has been busy painting three of the kubos, while I've been prepping the beds for future guests.

It's been a lot of work, especially since it's just the two of us besides the contractor and his 2 workers, but we're determined to make Glowbu Kabins a special place for everyone. We're putting in the extra hours this week, hoping to have everything ready for a Christmas or New Year's opening.

We're not just building a business; we're building a community. And that means being hands-on every step of the way. My husband and I are here every day. From cleaning to making beds, we're doing everything we can to ensure that your stay at Glowbu Kabins is comfortable and unforgettable. We can't wait to welcome you to our little slice of paradise. Stay tuned for our grand opening announcement! We'll be sharing more details soon, including photos of our Kubo cabins, the amazing beach just steps away, and all the fun activities we have planned. We're so excited to share this journey with you. Get ready to glow!

We are located in Montemar, San Juan, La Union, just a few steps to the beach and surfing area.

Amazing! Congratulations in advance on the opening of Glowbu Kabins. I'll take note of this for future reference. Perhaps when I can travel again I'll consider visiting La Union.
