The Long Road to Bukidnon: A Journey Worth Every Mile
Happy New Year! @worldmappin
It's been a while.
To start with let me ask you about how you spent your holidays?
Let me share with you about how I spent our Christmas vacation.

Before Christmas, my sister and I talked about spending Christmas here in my place and it was a great timing because I had a 2 week vacation from work.
I told my sister about going in Bukidnon where she stayed since I had a two-week vacation and it's also a Christmas vacation for the students.
I let my brother knew about this getaway. At first he refused because of some personal reasons, but later on, he agreed.
We planned to go to Bukidnon by a multicab since he has it and I told him that I'll take care of the fuel going there back and forth.
It happened quickly, plan today and execute tomorrow.
Sometimes, whenever we planned something, it happened only like a dream. Right now, we made it that it will come true.
We aren't familiar of how to get there. I mean. I heard from those who've been to Bukidnon that it would take like 9-10 hours.
When you think about it, it's fine.
We packed our things, we prepared some food so that wherever we stop we have already our food anytime. We left from home around six in the morning.
We used google map to know the road to take and of course, you need to be mindful about the map or you may pass the long road like what happened to us.

Actually at first, I saw that it will pass Ozamiz City and when we reach Ozamiz City and asked someone there how to get to Panguil Bridge, she directed us to go back from the way we took. and it would take us again an hour to go back there it's a waste of time and our fuel. We have nothing to do with it but to follow what she said.
We were happy when we found the way to Panguil Bridge and we thought that was almost near to Cagayan de Oro but it's not.
Whenever we asked someone about the way, they keep telling us that we are still very far from CDO, and whenever we hear that, we feel so down because it's so different from what we thought.
It's sunny and so hot while we were at the back of the vehicle, we cover ourselves with hoodies and dropped by a mall to buy glasses for our eyes. Glasses will protect our eyes from the heat of the sun and dust.
We continued our long journey and we passed zigzag roads.
it's already evening when we arrived Cagayan de Oro.
We checked google map again about how to get to Valencia Bukidnon, and we thought again that we're almost there. but we failed. We passed a lot of check points on the road, and ask some officials if we are almost there to Bukidnon but again they said, It's still far. I was thinking "When can we reach the place, we've been so long on the road already, it's already night time. We were so glad that we saw a sign board saying 'Welcome to Bukidnon Province". My seventy-one year old mom got so worried already because we were still far away.
My sister thought that we were almost there but when she let me share my location, she found out that we are still far away.
Deep inside praying,"Lord, please guide our way and take care of us".
Some roads were so dark, sometimes we were together with big trucks, some roads were ups and downs and whenever we passed the curve roads, it will take you a deep breath.
And as we end our trip, we thank the Lord for keeping us safe despite the challenges we have encountered on the road. And thankful because we did not encounter any problem with the multicab.
Whenever we travel to the place, we aren't familiar with, make sure to pray.
Finally, we met our sister and went to their home.
We rested right away from that long journey.
Thank you so much for dropping by and learning our journey.

Whoa, going to new place is fun but its kinda scary and challenging too. Hanga din naman ako sa lakas ng loob nyo ay, ay haba ng byahe. That sounds tiring too esp during th3 day na mainit. Still, nakarating naman ng matiwasaynano. Maigi din at di nagloko ang sasakyan.
What a travel! We were still wondering until now about that long travel from regiin 9 going to region 10
Thank you 🤗

oh my God, from Dipolog to Bukidnon? That's far sissy. We also tried that one from Molave to Valencia. Nakakapagod.
Yes @jeanieviv84 sis.. its really tiring.. but when we arrived bkidnon binawi din lahat ng pagod dahil sa magandang view, malamig na panahon and other stuff. It can be never again or one more time..🤗
