Greetings Dear Readers,
.
Let's have a look at this Principle...shall we...?
'Your leadership ability depends more on your actions, than on your official title, rank or status in life.'
One area of leadership often overlooked is that of influence...leading by example...it is a natural result of a job well done...others see the results and wish to have those results as well.
Usually it is a person who is motivated, dedicated to doing a job well that rises to the top in their field....sometimes they go on to greater things....starting a business, etc. and other times not however they have opened the door of opportunity for themselves and others through their example of an admirable job well done.
This Principle gives us something to think about.
Thank you for dropping by. ^__^

Kind Regards,
Bleujay

Principles are timeless truths as relevant today as they were yesterday and will be tomorrow.
All for our ponderance.

Greetings @hamim01 ,
Happy to hear your thoughts regarding the photography.

You are right, leadership is basically humility and service.
Beautiful flowers there!
Greetings @edith-4angelseu ,
The principle presented here is really more about a job superbly well done as an inspiration to others....Another principle would cover part of your statement...'There is no leadership apart from humility.'
Happy to hear your thoughts regarding the flowers.
Kind Regards,
Bleujay
Actions are what teach and show the person we are. No study or rank serves to show what we are made of when required.
Greetings @hjrrodriguez ,
Interesting ...yes..when required. Well said.

Very beautiful lily! The fragrance must be very sweet.
Leadership is a tricky thing here. Sometimes people just didn’t want to see the truth as they were jealous. Fierce competitions sometimes led to intense fighting for the ownership of good results. Time has changed many old values here.
Greetings @kaminchan ,
Appreciate you dropping by. ^__^
So true.
Yes.....it is the traditional values...we miss.

Bleujay
Exactly, Example. The person who sets an example is a leader by nature, since his actions are in line with his words and generates trust, therefore others follow him.
I wish you a happy day.
Greetings @lupega ,
Well said.
Thank you for your kind wishes....wishing you the same.
Cheers, Bleujay
Recently I listened to a nice history lecture about Emperor Maximilian try to form a Landsknecht (foot infantry) army in the 15th century. (Eventually, he didn't succeed 100%). But the story is very illustrative and interesting. Several episodes of it are simply stunning! For example, Emperor dismounted himself from his horse (!) and together with his troops, at the head of a column of course, entered the city... on foot!!!! showing everyone, including the nobility and knights, that pedestrian infantry is also okay, that fighting on foot is not something unrespectful and unimaginable for knights... (And it happened regularly, not once). Thats a very interesting example from history, confirming your thesis.

me too! obsessed with it a lot. 😘
Yeah leadership seems a personal trait that sometimes just rises to the moment and sometimes is just a natural thing like charisma. Hopefully one would have leadership who has earned ranks or titles yet that is certainly not a given from my experience.
P.S. Lovely flower arrangement.
Greetings @novacadian ,
How very kind of you to drop by.
It does happen that way sometimes....does it not.
Yes...those with the titles can be lacking, to be sure....thus the need for the principle ...as one may find one's self in a position of influence yet have no title....because they do their best in whatever position they find themselves.
The point is they do not need a title, rank, status to cause them to put forward their finest effort and as a result are an influence.
Kind Regards,
Bleujay
NB Thank you for your kind comment regarding the Still-life fleur arrangement. ^__^
The flowers are amazingly beautiful.
Greetings @jemima2001 ,
They are God's creation and I agree with you. ^__^

A lovely tranquil green and white permeates the photos you have shared, lovely pictures again @bleujay.
In terms of leadership this is a great issue to raise. We are in desperate need of positive and disciplined leaders in our world, there is such a paucity of them it's very depressing.
Actions do indeed define the person and not the title bestowed unto them. If we have strength of character and, very importantly, strength of moral character then we all have the ability to influence one another in a positive way.
Within the workplace I have witnessed the actions of some dreadful leaders who should never have been in a management role. But fortunately I have also worked with some very skilled and socially adept managers who do a good job and know how to manage people effectively and with human understanding. Sadly the latter type of manager is getting more difficult to find these days.
Greetings @peaceandmoney ,
What a lovely description of the photography....thank you.
I agree with you...we are in need....this principle is to encourage anyone to step up to the bar with his best efforts in what he does...he is at least leading himself and as a result may have a positive influence on others.
As you said so succinctly said....' Actions do indeed define the person and not the title bestowed unto them. If we have strength of character and, very importantly, strength of moral character then we all have the ability to influence one another in a positive way.'
We know the opposite is true as well.
It is good to hear you have had the experience of responsible leadership. It is a memorable experience and you have experienced the contrast which really highlights the query....What did we learn?...in a fantastic way.
Have you read the book 'Man's Search for Meaning' by Dr. Viktor Frankl? What I learned from it, was the importance of objectivity.
Appreciate you dropping by.
Kind Regards,
Bleujay
The Lillies are very beautiful, i love the colour blend.
Greetings @tranquil3 ,
They are God's creation and are very beautiful indeed!

Blessed morning and day to you, @bleujay!
You have put together a magnificent composition with lilies in a classic style, which is emphasized by the background setting.
Lilies in the field of classics are unsurpassed, they have notes of the Renaissance :)
As for the principle of the day, for someone, indeed, leadership is a winning lottery ticket, but, perhaps, the phrase of Ecclesiastes is appropriate here, everything has its time and a clear understanding that our actions as leaders are blessed by God, and are not a manifestation of our restless human nature.
Something like that :)
I think so.

Greetings @barski ,
How very kind of you to drop by....appreciate your kind words regarding the post's composition.
Oh yes...thank you for the phrase from Ecclesiastes..I would agree.
The principle for believers ...You are not promoted unless God promotes you. We are to be on God's timing, not our own. That certainly gives us pause...does it not. Illustration of Joseph...God's timing...indeed.
Wishing you and yours God's best,
Bleujay
NB Thank you @barski for the reblog of this post...very kind of you.
The tokens are appreciated as well...thank you!
Moses had absolutely no leadership qualities, he was also tongue-tied and could not really convey his thoughts to people in words, but he led the entire Jewish people, being in obedience to God :) !BEER !PIZZA

@bleujay! @barski Totally agrees with your content! so I just sent 1 IDD to your account on behalf of @barski.
Leading by example is my favorite things to see. Through my life I have had the good luck to work under several leaders who inspired me by their willingness to go above and beyond. It made me want to go above too.
Lovely flowers
