Hope you are well.
How about this Principle...'Right thinking leads to Right action.'
It brings to mind the mechanics of how we get to Action. It begins with a Thought...then Motive (the Why)...then Decision and finally Action.
Thought, Motive, Decision, Action
Too many times we pass over 'Motive' and 'Decision' and go straight from Thought to Action...without thinking the subject over, gathering facts or even making a conscious decision. In hindsight, we might think to ourselves...perhaps I should have given it a think...I might have made a different decision...a better decision.
Often we do not consider the 'Motive'....Asking ourselves...'Why are we contemplating said action.' In the decision phase...we should ask ourselves whether this a good decision...what does the result look like? Give yourself permission to not do something.
An impetuous decision versus a considered decision.
We make thousands of decisions everyday..and go through these four steps in a fraction of a second.....an extra second or two to make sure the motive and decision are good ...are common sense...would be well worth our time.
Right thoughts with right motives and right decisions make for right actions.

'Pears On Holiday'

Details regarding the Photographs and the Drawing....the (Icing);
The Photographs were taken with an iPad Pro in Bleujay's studio on a cutting board made from Eucalyptus wood with various fruits mainly chosen for their colour and the shapes they could bring to the composition. The creamer brought sparkle and the green velvet ribbon had a splendid way of bringing everything together.
The Drawing was sketched on holiday when supplies were limited to paper and pencil....which is what I tend to do whilst on holiday...drop by the Green Grocer collect some pears and get started. ^__^
This sketch has been posted before here and elsewhere.
A side note with regard to the Principle....this is a favourite subject which has been featured previously and differently at Bleujays'.

Yay! Another Truth and I didn’t miss it by a few days!
What a well-photographed bounty in the pictures! The colour, nutrition and flavour flows out of it and brings us into a party where we are all enjoying it. Love the illustration too with what seems to be a smooth mix of a couple different styles!
'Right thinking leads to Right action.'
This made me think about wrong thinking and what that does to our actions. You might think it leads to wrong actions which may be true. I also believe that wrong thinking leads to inaction. A though will happen and negativity can take over before motivation can settle in and the decision can be not to take action because you talk yourself out of doing something right.
Sometimes, there is motivation that comes before thought like a motivation to achieve or avoid a certain outcome. Then, creativity is engaged then the thoughts start churning and then a decision is made to act because the motivation was there.
Alright, now to stop looking at things from alternative angles as is my tendency. When we decide to cast out negativity or wrong thinking, and think right thoughts, it can take a little more mental energy. Pessimists may also say you are foolishly wearing rose-coloured glasses. Well, perhaps but to improve our situation and those who depend upon us, right thinking is the best place to start when action is needed and right actions can follow.
Like pushups! They add up, don’t take long to do, and lead us to be happy pears on vacation.

Ah...yes... as you should...antonyms are part of the analysis. You are correct..it happens just like that. ..and looking at situs from different angles
is best...it assists in objectivity and clarity.

Why don't you post in communities?
It seems communities rather appreciate posts which focus on their subject. And as anyone can tell...Bleujay presents a few subjects in each post....from photography, philosophy, artwork, to the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. Also in my personal opinion Communities have a way of becoming cliques and hemming in one's creativity. Of course that being said...I am a great appreciator of the photography communities however it is not for Bleujay.

I have been struggling with speaking too quickly. I need to think before I put the words out there. I had recently said something in whirl of emotion and caused a catastrophe to be undone. It made me think of the power and authority Jesus gave us, *"whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do..." (John 14:12)
The same thing can happen when we tell people about our health ills (worsening them?). Proclaiming this or that to be so, backed by the power we are given, should be wielded with respect. I have a very short window to stop or control what comes out of my mouth. I am working on that. But I am adding your 'look before you leap' advice to my self-control efforts. They are both worth striving for in order to avoid the should-a, could-a, would-a that comes after any decision. Loved your post and your pictures.

But allow me to interact because I identify with what you wrote. I suffer from the same problem, but a simple therapy has helped me a lot: counting slowly to 7 before reacting, before speaking. And I recall Psalm 141:3 -

I couldn't agree more, if you don't have clear thinking the last thing you will make are good decisions. And thinking about what the right thing to do beforehand you are more likely to make the ethical and best choice for everyone involved. I take my time making decisions; in fact, I analyze everything before taking action. That's why I try to stay calm. If I'm angry, I breathe and then make decisions. But I must admit that when I'm very angry, my response is immediate. I don't think, I act. But I immediately distance myself from the people who make me angry, not without first telling them how I feel and sometimes even giving them a good punch. Excuse me, I have a very strong temper. I already told you, when I'm angry I'm similar to one of those wounded animals; nothing matters to me.
