Hello everybody and welcome to the Football On Hive 2024 Last Man or Woman Standing Competition 2024.

Entries are now closed to the competition so we are locked in.

So we are down to 3 remaining participants this week. With last week the internationals and the week before where all 3 candidates which meant that they all stayed in, it has been a few weeks of Last Man Standing. So who did the remaining 3 go for this week.

Results

So @cryptoandcoffee secures his place in the final of Last Man Standing. @cryptoandcoffee, a good pal of mine has played this very well. A serial last man standing entrant, I am glad to see him finally getting to the final.

It looked like @saif-ul-wahab was a goner when the Saints went 2 goals up against Leicester but Leicester came back and in the dying embers of the match they secured the victory which sank Southampton. What a great game and I would say beads of sweat were appearing on this persons forehead and they thought they were a goner. Also point to note that if Leicester did not score the goal at the last minute then we would have had a winner.

@mypathtofire who I always call Eileen or my path of fire for since I met him and keep tagging him incorrectly played a good game. He tried to pick Man City for this match but he had picked them previously so I could feel the sense of blind panic stations when I asked him for another team. He picked Fulham who are on a good run but Villa were too good for them. my path of fire leaves us with 15 Hive in prize money for coming 3rd.

So this is for the title. Looking down at the previous teams picked. @saif-ul-wahab is showing a slight advantage by having Leicester out of the way but it is neck and neck with the top six pciked in different weeks. Best of luck to you two. Deadline is Friday this week as we have a game on at 8pm.
