A sticky one this week with most players already having chosen the top teams. We are getting into the middle and lower tier teams and hoping they will pull out a victory.
Below was the teams selections of our final 12 contestants

Results week 8

So 2 people went for Spurs (@emeka4 and @teofilex11) to beat Luton Town and they were lucky to come away with a win after Bissouma got sent off for simulation.

I went for Chelsea against Burnley as I think Chelsea are improving and Burnley would get caught out on the attack which they did.

@blockchainfpl , @funshee , @iamchuks , and @twicejoy went with Fulham which was a good pick as they saw off Sheffield United.

2 people chose Aston Villa. I had them backed myself. Villa are a strange team. They can beat the best teams in the league and then fall at a hurdle like Wolves a week after and get a draw. On saying that Wolves are not bad at all and will stay up this season for sure. Thanks for taking part guys . You did really well.

2 users did not give me a team and they already had Arsenal and Aston Villa so they were allocated Bournemouth which is probably justice. Thanks for taking part @bOs and @happy411.

Fixtures Week 9

So we have an international break now until the 21st October. I know , I know. Terrible. On the bright side I am off to see Ireland play in sunny Portugal as Gibraltar don't have a stadium for some reason so the match is on in Faro. Get your teams in before the deadline at 12.30 on the 21st Oct. Don't forget there are prizes for the last 3 contestants. You came this far. Don't back out now. Win it out. Oh and I am still in it which is great. The good thing is even if I did enter it is impossible to fix as last time I looked I am not a genie.

So best of luck to the remaining 8 contestants. If you did an 8 match accumulator at the start of the season you would probably be worth a good few pound now. But 50 HBI is beeter!
