miniature Painting (A lamp post in sunset )

2024 Goal for me was to become a better artist and for that I have been doing multiple practices and one of those practices is to Paint Miniature sceneries and backgrounds .

This week I'm drawing a Lamp post in sunset .
It's one of the references I saw of paintings but we always add our own touches to enhance it more to make it different.

Here is all the material I'm using .
A 4×6 cartridge sheet paper , masking tape for taping the edges , acrylic paints, 2 inch flat brush and a fine liner brush.

We tape the edges of the canvas to the surface so it doesn't move . Also taping the edges gives it a clean look when the piece is finished.

Now let's begin painting.
We start by using a white mixed sky blue color over the top part and in middle I put yellow blob in middle and the bottom we have a little red .
Now we mix it up from top to bottom making a light blue to yellow red Sunset sky gradient . Make sure to clean the brush.

Now I use a dry flat brush and we use non diluted black paint . I dab the top right lightly making it look like a tree foliage and the texture looks like tiny leaves .
Next i dab some more black paint to the bottom these will be our bushes .

For the lamp pose I'm using black paint and a fine liner brush size 000 I start making a little line and turning it into spiral and that spiral has some dots like hooks and from the spiral hangs down the lamp.

For the lamp I made an (|||) lines and the top would have edges rounded out and in the middle paint white paint This will look like the Lamp is lit up .

After removing the masking tape from the edges Here is the final look of our miniature painting.
