🇵🇭 The central bank of the Philippines has prolonged its suspension on issuing new licenses for virtual asset service providers indefinitely.

This decision is based on concerns about consumer protection, financial integrity, and cybercrime risks. Currently, there are only 9 active VASPs licensed as of May 2025.
