What up gang
Been messing around with this webdash I built called Autostep
It basically just automates the whole local music generation process so I do not have to sit there manually entering prompts all day Just feed it a massive batch of ideas and it churns out tracks in the background while I work on other server stuff.

But honestly there are some major roadblocks if I want to take this to the next level
Because the reality is a lot of these generations sound like absolute garbage right now
It is a lot more misses than hits when you just let the machine run wild without babysitting it
If I truly want a completely automated system that just drops music and runs itself I have to figure out the quality control side of things.

You can not just have an auto record label uploading unlistenable noise and expect it to do anything but tank!

So I am going to explore and build more on this front cause the potential is to huge to ignore
Right now I got another project in the works that is directly related to solving this exact problem I am trying to build a local AI tool that can actually listen to an audio file and figure out what the hell it is
It will automatically label the track with the right style and genre tags so it can be sorted properly.

But the most important part is getting it to analyze the audio and tell me if it is actually musically sound Like did the generation actually follow a beat or did it just spit out static and distorted vocals
If I can get this listener AI working right it ties perfectly into the whole autonomous record label concept.

The generator makes the tracks and then the listener tool acts like an automated A&R rep tossing out the trash and only keeping the decent stuff
Then it auto tags them and ships them off to be uploaded without me ever having to put on headphones.

It is all about building systems that do the heavy lifting so you do not have to grind yourself to death Physical assets are always the real play but if I can spin up an army of digital music bots that curate their own content I am definitely going to exploit that
Just got to keep tinkering with the code and getting these local models to talk to each other properly eh.

Going to be a lot of trial and error but that is how it goes when you are building from damn near scratch It takes work upfront to build the machine but once it is running you just step back and let the code do what it does best
No leverage no fake decentralized hype just raw utility running on local hardware doing exactly what I programmed it to do
Going to get back to coding this audio listener bot and see if I can get it to accurately flag the garbage tracks by tonight... maybe tomorrow 🤣
