Repair economy

What is good folks in this one I will be sharing about my little endeavor for the repair economy... I don't think that is the right term, but whatever I will just explain what I mean anyway.

It's like a movement where folks want to fix stuff instead of throwing it away, pretty cool for the earth and nature and shit but it's not for everyone and sometimes the companies make it harder then it should be internally to stop folks from fixing shit.

Well that is not the case here, the unit you see above was just some cheap thing I got from China for 15 bucks it worked for a while and has a little solar panel and lights up at night when the sensor detects motion and also its not day time (smart enough to not trigger in light conditions)

Well the battery crapped but I got lots, I decided to just put to instead of one, but to start we have to pop out the old one

Ghetto rig in parallel so that we have the same voltage but more capacity then the original with just the one battery

I also had to tear up an old usb cable to get some more wires, a lil welding a lil gluing and I Was more or less set

Well everything was good to go but the door was not made to hold 2 batteries so I had to cut it down and then I was good to go!

And here she shines again with more capacity then ever. and the batteries are used are batteries I pulled out from an old scooter or laptop battery, they are still batteries with a lot of capacity in them.

Anyway that is about it for this one, take care y'all
