So I went back and looked at the dates on these little guys and man time flies because I actually scooped these up way back at the start of 2004 when the world was a completely different place and the spot price was low enough to make you want to cry looking at it now compared to the madness we deal with today

I always see people posting those 1 ounce rounds and I honestly just never had the opportunity to find one at a price that didn't feel like I was getting fleeced so I never pulled the trigger on the big ones but these 3 little 1 gram mini prospectors popped up and I had to grab them even with the premium being what it is

That is the thing with fractional silver eh you know you are paying a massive markup for the convenience of having it in such a small size but when the total price is still pretty cheap overall it doesn't sting quite as bad as paying a huge percentage on a kilo bar or something heavy

I know some people hate on the gram rounds because they think it is a waste of time but honestly having them in the stack for this long is a win in my book since I got them when silver was dirt cheap and even with a high premium back then they have still held their value way better than any of the other junk I was probably spending money on in 2004

Sometimes you just gotta take what you can get when the price is right and even if they are tiny they still feel real in the hand which is more than I can say for half the stuff people are chasing these days and it is kind of cool to look back and see how much teh market has shifted while these little prospectors just sat in the safe doing their thing without any drama or hype attached to them
