I've been around on the Hive blockchain for a very long time. I've even invested a good amount of my money into the chain but not only money also hours daily into investing, gaming, writing and contributing of which I'll be expanding on soon by running my own node. (I'm not expecting to reach the top 20 lol but just contribute a little more)

With that being said I wanted to go over all the ways you could honestly turn it into a crypto empire with constant work, investment and building. It also goes by all skill types and while some of these might be harder I'm also a firm believer that anyone can do anything with enough learning skills and or communication skills with others already doing it.

Blogging

There's been a lot of weird talk about blogging and rewards. While I won't get into the nitty gritty of it by posting good quality content on hive and engaging with communities you can earn a decent amount of revenue. The main ones I currently use are hive, InLeo, Proof of brain and Neoxian for decent payouts and good communities and there are plenty of others to pick from I would encourage you to view the communities tab and see what ones you're interested in and like to write about.

Blogging mainly is a way to generate some active crypto which can then be compounded through power ups and curation. If you do a good job at keeping up with your curation you'll most likely be around a 11% APR on your hive powered up. That's roughly 8%-9% in curation rewards and almost 3% in staking rewards. Have 100,000 hive you're now looking at a semi passive 11,000 hive per year or about 30 hive per day.

Gaming

Gaming can be a very good one if you end up joining and investing in quality games. The main one for me still is called Splinterlands

Now what I personally find awesome about Splinterlands is just how many ways you can go about making revenue and passive crypto from the game. To me it's one of the biggest gamefi real world cases I've seen to date.

Here's a quick run down

• Open packs, play in battles earn rewards from daily and seasonal
• Play in tournaments for extra prizes
• Invest in cards and sell them for higher
• Invest in cards and packs for airdrops (Coming soon with rebellion wagons)
• Invest in governance tokens (SPS) earn vouchers and passive SPS
• Provide liquidity to pairs in Gamefi (About to greatly be expanded with land 2.0 early next year)
• Harvest land
• and more!

There's honestly so much to do in the game and ways to generate crypto it's pretty unreal and it's only getting larger in 2024.

You also have other games such as

• DCrops
• Rising Star
• Golem Overloard
  and many more which are hive based games you can use to have fun and maybe earn a little with them.

Nodes

Hive runs on witnesses which are voted on by everyone who has powered up hive. You can run a node yourself for rather cheap $50 or less a month. Being under the top 20 witnesses will use your node as a fall back in which can process some blockchains (every 3 seconds). You mainly need to be in the top 100 in order to gain some profits from your node otherwise you'll most likely be running at an expense. Which might be ok as well if you simply believe in the platform and want to help contribute.

Curation

You don't have to actively write on hive perhaps you just want to curate content. By powering up hive and curating only you'll be earning 11% on your hive that's powered up. It's actully a decent sum of money when Hive starts pushing closer to $1 each. (last bull run it peaked at $3 per but held it's ground for a while at a bit above $1

Develop

Do you know how to code and build your own blockchain projects? Well hive could be a great fit for you. What separates hive out from other platforms is just how much community support you can end up getting from people.

What I mean by this is by running your application on hive you can also blog about the updates you're doing, thread about them and even create videos about it. All on the hive blockchain through other applications. In doing so you'll start to gain awareness about your project with the community. This can result in votes on your posts that can be used to help fund your project or be used for many of the above methods.

It's truly an all in one ecosystem unlike any other blockchain and I firmly believe with more awesome developers on here creating things that we will continue to grow and expand at a much more rapid pace.
