Ethereum Updates Big Things Happening On Chain

Ethereum has always been a main topic when you think about crypto. I would say equally more talked about if not more talked about than Bitcoin. Bitcoin really does nothing besides hold value and security while Ethereum has been on the cutting edge of development for blockchains.

Normally when new innovation happens in crypto it starts with Ethereum over any other blockchain in terms of advancement and price action and Ethereum might be headed that way again.

Let's take a quick overview look at what's new with Ethereum.

ETH Spot ETF

Bitcoins Spot ETF is currently on hold and looking like we wont get any new real movement on it until early 2024 when the next deadline comes due. However with the current SEC in power they are constantly going to delay or find ways to delay the ETF without giving any real answers. The one thing going for it right now is the next president election if someone pro crypto gets into power and not Biden again. However the people up for running so far is not looking promising to beat out Biden as sad as that freakin sounds.

However new advancements are being made now in which ARK Cathie Wood's Investment filed the first ever SPOT Ether ETF which would be a way for large scale investors to buy Ethereum directly unlike current ETFs where are bought and sold at set dates.

Nodes Need To Police

A decentralized system sounds great until you realize how many self centered bad actors their are. In a recent push towards privacy pools the creator of Ethereum is pushing those people and companies to help in weeding out criminal activity. Which should be rather easy to track based on the fact that everything is in fact an open ledger. You'd just have to be lazy to not really care to track and see what someone is up to. However is someone is acting as the middle made to transact bad funds there should be some type of tracking and accountability. While personally I don't want to see governments be that person and instead would rather node operators start to be a little more proactive and keep the blockchain healthy and as clean as possible. This seems to be the push from ETH creator.
