The other world.

There are people who believe that a dream is just some sort of holographic representation of all that the mind captures during wake. Others like myself believe that a dream is a gateway to the soul to explore in its true form of energy.
You see the group of people who believe that dream is a figment of our imagination, they will always miss out on all that the dream state has to offer. It's like this yeah, you see the mind is like a computer, remember garbage in and garbage out? Whatever you feed to your mind becomes your reality, if you think like there is a box, you will vibrate at a constricted level of frequency.
While they are making the most of their dreams and preventing so many physical dangers, there are others who will tell you... Naa, dreams have to be hogwash because I do not dream. You see such people? They mostly take life as it comes without trying to attach any deeper meaning to it.
Again, we have the sets who dream, see it come to pass but are most likely helpless to learn a thing or two going forward because they either lack the awareness or mental capacity to comprehend the dream message. Some people get lucky and blessed with dream interpretation without even trying too much.
Personally, if there's one way I have come to be in control of my dream is to be intentional in my thought process, and learn to keep my emotions in check. I am not a guru on these things but then I try to pick up one or two lessons from supposed experts and apply them in my life. I remember there was a time I was always forgetting my dreams. Whenever I awake, the only thing I can process from the dream are the emotions I felt at the time. This will confirm if the dream was a bad one or not from there, I know the next step to take despite not remembering the dream.
But then it got to an extent the emotions got crazy and I could no longer pinpoint which was which so I ran to one of my spiritualist friend and he advised me to stop late night food especially heavy meals like swallow (fufu, eba, pounded yam, Amala etc). He gave me time by saying if I must eat late at night, it should be light meals (like fruits, cereal, custard or pap) and several hours before sleep.
Ideally, according to him, dinner should be on or before 7pm. That is, by the time one is going to bed, say 10pm, the food must have digested and the body must be relaxed for sleep. According to my friend, most times that we do not remember our dream is due to the body overworking itself during wake and being tired from exhaustion. I did take his advice and it worked.
Another effective method of remembering our dreams is journaling, maintaining and studying our dream journal or journals. This method was taught to me in my place of worship. It is believed that by keeping a dream journal to write and study our dreams, we'd get exposed to our dream patterns and symbols. Oftentimes like the prompt stated, the dream world can be crazy and things are not always what they seem. This is where journaling and studying helps and these methods are how I have been able to manage my dreams.
