Judy is a 5'6 (167.64 cm)chubby girl who tried her hand in modelling, and it backfired. I saw her put in the work, the blood, and the sweat.

She even lost a few pounds and went from winning the most beautiful girl on campus to Interstate modelling.

Then she told me she was travelling to Lagos for a pageant and if she wins, it will get her into Nollywood. She was so determined, and I was seriously rooting for her.

A day to when she was to travel, she had a bike accident and her right foot was badly injured, but Judy wasn't backing down as after receiving treatment that evening, the following morning she was on her way to Lagos.

Despite her badly injured leg, Judy walked and danced on heels, Judy trained on sneakers and did everything the other girls did just as well.

On the day before the main pageant, they had a yoga class so they were all to go barefooted for it. When the organizers saw Judy's badly injured leg, they were surprised and shocked on how well she has managed with such leg.

For her sacrifices and effort, the owner of the pageant took interest in her and with that, she won the show. Imagine our excitement? She was all over social media, and we were in the comment section identifying with her.

She came back to School, and we all gave her a king's welcome.

One afternoon, she told me she wanted to go to Benin. She looked worried and troubled. I asked her what's wrong, and she said, she had an unfinished business there.

I started wondering what business is that? Is it pageantry? She said No and then said she doesn't want to talk about it, so I let her be.

She did not wait for lectures to end when she left. I got done with lectures and headed for my hostel within the school campus.

A fine evening it was until I got a call from a Course mate to go on Google and type Miss *******. I wanted to ask questions, but the line went dead.

I got on Google and met the shocker of my life when I saw Judy's naked pictures all over the internet. In no distance time, my phone started ringing, people who knew us together came and were knocking on my door.

I called her sister Edith and she said she has seen it, that she's on her way to school.

It was past 7pm when she called again and asked about Judy, I told her she said she was going to Benin. We tried reaching Judy, but her line was switched off.

Edith got to school and called me with some of our mutual friends to come walk her to the hostel as the whole school was already aware, and all eyes were on her.

We got to her and as we walked down, we could hear murmuring and side talk of people saying she's Judy because they look so much alike. At a point, she had to cover her face with a handkerchief to mask herself.

Shortly after we got to Edith's room, some angry women mob came to her door demanding for her, thinking she's Judy.

Something we were taking lightly but before we knew it, they started banging on the door and forcefully trying to open the window.

They said they needed Judy to come and explain why she disgraced the female gender by having her nude photos online.

Luckily, one of us there had one of the hostel security guy's number, of which she called him and reported the situation of things.

That was our saving grace as they came to our rescue.

THE LIE

Judy's news soon got to the school authority because she was still holding the office of the most beautiful girl on campus, and she was addressed as such on the blog that posted her nudes.

The blog stated she sends her nude photos to pageant organizers and sleeps with them just to win. We didn't believe that or at least I did not believe that because I have seen the sacrifices she put in to win, and I believed she earned it. I wasn't going to let some low life invalidate her efforts.

We started thinking of a lie but we were not fast enough as the school authority already sent the displinary team. When they came, everyone was devastated and no one could answer whatever question that was thrown.

So I just had to think of something and lied to them that Judy had gone home for treatment as she wasn't feeling too well.

The disciplinary team lead looked at us and asked us to come clean and tell him the truth, all we know concerning Judy's involvement with the bloggers because if truly she sends her nude to them to win pageantries, she would be expelled.

At this point, her sister was already crying. No one was speaking and then I just found myself talking. I didn't even know what I was saying but I was trying to make sense.

I told the team lead that Judy was just a victim of blackmail and that the pictures in question were not even hers as they were photoshopped.

I lied further that it was her ex behind it all as she recently got out of an abusive relationship. I said so many lies and I tried so hard to make it the truth.

Edith and the other girls met me half way into the lie and everything was just synching. I think they bought it as the team lead asked us to reach out to Judy to see him once she recovers.

On our own, we cooked up the photoshop story so well and when Judy finally came back from her unfinished business at Benin, her sister fed all the lies to her.

I also reached out to a course mate who is a tech guy to hack into the blog and crash it, of which he did.

Later on, after the whole issue had died down, I asked Judy what really happened.... You wouldn't believe that the same lies I came up with was what Judy narrated to me as the truth.

I just smiled as I realised she might not be as innocent as I had presumed. I later found out she went to Benin to arrest the guy she had sent the nudes to.

The Tech guy came to me and was really bitter that Judy is such an ingrate. I asked him what happened and he narrated how he met her and told her what he did with the blog and she couldn't even appreciate him.

When I approached her on why she didn't appreciate the guy, she told me that she said thank you to him and to her that is enough.

She went further to say I do not expect her to roll on the floor just because she's grateful for his kindness towards her.

Right there and then, I regretted the lies I told to save her. But her actions didn't stop me from going all out for anyone faced with the same or similar situation.
