Friends!!! Another new adventure is coming, today we will be uploading content for the first time from the "Quinta da Amizade" a park open to the public and whose name also derives from: "Vila Sassetti", these natural facilities were built between the years 1890 and 1894, their architectural styles ranging from Romanesque to Florentine stand out and camouflage themselves in the rocky and wooded landscape of the Sintra Mountains, and today I show it to you.🌏🗺️

Amigos!!! se viene otra nueva aventura, hoy estaremos subiendo contenido por primera vez en la "Quinta da Amizade" un parque abierto al publico y cuyo nombre tambien deriva en: "Vila Sassetti", estas instalaciones naturales fueron construidas entre los anos 1890 y 1894 sus estilos arquitectonicos pasando desde Romanico hasta Florentino se destacan y camuflan en el paisaje rocoso y boscoso de la Sierra de Sintra, y hoy te lo muestro.🌳🚩

There are many ways to travel around Sintra, from paying for a tour that takes care of absolutely everything (obviously you'll pay a lot of money, but you'll save a lot of time and effort), to taking the train, bus, taxi, or Uber. If you don't want to spend much and prefer a budget-friendly approach, then get off at the train station and walk from there. Ideally, start around 6 am to make the most of the day, and do this in the summer when the sun sets at 9 pm.🧭🗺️
Hay muchas maneras de viajar por Sintra, desde pagando Tour y facilitandote absolutamente todo, obviamente aqui pagaras mucho dinero pero evitaras mucho tiempo y trabajo, tambien puedes hacerlo con el tren, autobus, taxi, uber, si no quieres gastar mucho y hacer turismo de mochilero entonces te bajas en la estacion de tren y ahi caminas, eso si... Posiblemente desde las 6am para que puedas aprovechar al maximo al dia, y hazlo en verano cuando el sol se oculta a las 21:00⛰️🏞️

Before visiting the palace, "Vila Sassetti," I wandered around the area to get to know the historic center of Sintra a little. To be honest, I had never been to this area before. There are many old houses and mansions, some abandoned, but today they are properties worth millions of euros. I always emphasize that summer in Sintra is crazy; you can't visit at that time because there are too many tourists.👨🏻‍🏫🏰
Antes de visitar el palacio: "Vila Sassetti" di unas vueltas por la zona para conocer un poco el casco historico de Sintra, les soy sincero nunca habia estado por esta zona, muchas quitas y mansiones bastante antiguas, algunas abandonadas hoy son propiedades que valen millones de euros, siempre hago incapie que el verano en Sintra es una locura, no puedes visitar en esa fecha porque hay demasiado turistas.🏞️🏔️

I had never read or heard about this Palace until I went to visit the "Castle of the Moors," and it turns out there are some trails in the mountains that lead to the castle starting from this park, and I recommend them, they are quite beautiful but demanding. I saw many people arrive tired at the Castle for underestimating the trail, and well, there I discovered the "Vila Sassetti" and I decided that I would return.🗺️🌏
Nunca habia leido o escuchado sobre este Palacio hasta ir a visitar el "Castillo de los Mouros", y es que existen unos senderos en la montana que nos llevan al castillo partiendo desde este parque, y te los recomiendo son bastante bonitos pero exigentes, vi mucha gente llegar cansada al Castillo por subestimar el sendero, y bueno alli descubri la "Vila Sassetti" y quede en que volveria.⛰️🧭

The owner of the beautiful palace was Victor Carlos Sassetti, a multimillionaire who also owned several hotels, and who had a best friend named Luigi Manini. This latter architect had left his signature on Quinta da Regaleira, another very famous palace in Portugal, and I must place it in the top 5 places to visit.🏰⛰️🌏
El propietario del hermoso palacio fue Victor Carlos Sassetti, un multimillonario que tambien poseia varios hoteles, y quien tenia un mejor amigo llamado: Luigi Manini este ultimo arquitecto habia dejado su firma en la Quinta da Regaleira otro palacio demasiado famoso en Portugal y debo colocarlo en el top 5 sitios para visitar,🗺️🧭🏔️

Looking at it in detail, we are in the presence of an eclectic architectural mix! with a great influence from Romanesque and Lombard styles, common in the 19th century, with a central tower that stands out for its bricks, and use of local rustic stone; all this combination was designed to attract Italian culture to Sintra.🌏⛰️
Viendo con detalles estamos en presencia de una mezcla arquitectonica, ecléctica! con gran influencia en Romanica y Lombarda, era comun del siglo XIX, con una torre central que se destaca por sus ladrillos, y uso de roca ruistica local, toda esta combinacion quedo plasmada para atraer la cultura Italiana a Sintra.🏰🏞️

When Sassetti died, the property was rented to a famous millionaire who also lived in Portugal, Gulbenkian, who would leave billions of Euros in research foundations. This was between 1920 and 1955. cuando Sassetti muere, la propiedad pasa a ser alquilada a un famoso millonario que tambien habitaba Portugal, se trataba de Gulbenkian quien dejaria millardos de Euros en fundaciones de investigaciones, esto fue entre 1920 y 1955, Manini quien tambien disena el jardin que consta de 1.2 hectarea, se encargo de crear un rio artificial con diferentes especies para hacer una conexion natural mas profunda. 🧭🌳

Vaya, quedé sorprendido con la cantidad de imágenes que compartiste de la zona, pero además de las áreas naturales que se llegan a ver, diría que lo que más me encantó fue la arquitectura de las construcciones y obras, precisamente, a medida que iba leyendo y viendo las fotos iba a preguntarte sobre la arquitectura, pero luego vi que lo explicaste bien con lo de la influencia románica y lombarda. Además, no sé si son cosas mías, pero creo que muchas de las calles tienen pendientes algo pronunciadas, creo que a eso te refieres con lo exigente que es la travesía, hay muchas subidas.

Un gran post que vale la pena mirar y disfrutar, un saludo mi amigo.

Jajajaja sí, claramente se ve que no es para cualquiera, pero si vas a conocer algún sitio, entonces hay que ir dispuesto y preparado a todo. Hay que llevar un tanque de oxigeno por si acaso jajaja.

Saludos @biologistbrito, la ruta hacia la Quinta de Amaziade requiere resistencia física, si tengo la oportunidad de ir elijo la opción de caminar, así puedo observar el entorno y los llamativos diseños de las edificaciones. Un espacio ideal para los amantes del senderismo.
