Good morning, friends! Today was a special day filled with beautiful photos and a unique trip through nature. I came to the north of Portugal and visited the village of "Casal Pinto" and the village of "Cabeceira de Bastos." I wanted to visit some new places and a lovely little waterfall, all in communion with nature, which always makes for a good companion to relax on stressful days.🗺️🌻

¡Buenos días, amigos! Hoy fue un día especial cargado de lindas fotos y un viaje único en la naturaleza, vine a la zona norte de Portugal y visité la aldea de: "Casal Pinto" y la aldea de: "Cabeceira de bastos" quise visitar algunos locales nuevos y una linda y pequeña cascada, todo en comunión con la naturaleza que siempre nos hace una buena compañía para relajarnos en días de estrés,😱📸

At this time of year it is difficult to find places to camp where fires are allowed, this park is allowed under your strict care, I was not thinking of making a campfire because I think it is very irresponsible, on the contrary, we used our portable stove on the table to heat our food, whenever you come to Portugal during times of drought avoid making campfires, anyway... We brought prepared food from our homes, delicious chicken and rice and drinks, we spent an hour here before continuing our trip north, but before that we would visit a beautiful waterfall.🌍🧭
En esta época del año es difícil conseguir lugares para acampar que sea permitido generar algún fuego, este parque es permitido bajo tu estricto cuidado, yo no pensaba hacer alguna fogata hasta porque pienso que es muy irresponsable, por el contrario, utilizamos nuestra cocina portátil sobre la mesa para calentar nuestros alimentos, siempre que vengas a Portugal en épocas de sequías evita hacer fogatas, en fin.... Trajimos desde nuestras casas ya comida preparada, un delicioso arroz con pollo y bebidas, pasamos una hora aquí antes de continuar viaje al norte, pero antes visitaríamos una linda cascada.🌄🌷
It was delicious, but the experience wasn't five stars, I'd say it was 3/5 because it was very windy and the stove went out haha, what mattered was that we ate and had a great time, after talking a bit we had to go to the waterfall.🧭📸
Estaba muy delicioso, pero la experiencia no fue cinco estrellas, diría que fue 3/5 porque había mucho viento y se apagaba la cocina jaja, lo que importo fue que comimos y la pasamos superbién, luego de conversar un poco nos tocó ir a la cascada.🥘🍲

As you can see in the photo, there's a trail marked with red and yellow. We'll follow it and it'll lead us to the waterfall. Or we can take the rustic path to the right next to the park; both sides are suitable. Be careful; it's very hot in summer if you have small children. I always tell everyone that the best time to travel to Portugal is in spring because the weather is pleasant and the landscapes aren't dry. Plus, many of the waterfalls that disappear in summer are still visible.📸🧭
Como puedes ver en la foto, hay un sendero ese que tiene una marca roja y amarilla, vamos a acompañarla y nos estará llevando a la cascada, o podemos tomar el camino rústico a la derecha al lado del parque, ambos lados sirven, ten cuidado hace mucho calor en verano por si tienes niños pequeños. Siempre les digo a todos que la mejor poca para viajar a Portugal es en primavera porque el clima es bueno y los paisajes no son secos, además que muchas de las cascadas que desaparecen en verano son visibles.🌷🌄
And after 10 minutes of walking less than 1km we arrived at the waterfall, I warn you that I never recommend taking a bath in these places because many agricultural companies contaminate the water, they are more for visiting and admiring nature, I touched the water and it was tempting, it was quite cold hehe🌍📍
Y luego de 10 minutos de caminata menos de 1km llegamos a la cascada, ya te advierto nunca recomiendo tomar baño en estos sitios porque muchas empresas de agricultura contaminan el agua, son más para visitar y admirar la naturaleza, toque el agua y fue tentador estaba bastante fria jeje🗺️🚩
We found the place super beautiful, there were quite a few mosquitoes and insects, but I imagine this must be super interesting to visit in winter.📸🚩
El lugar nos parecio super bonito, habian bastante zancudos e insectos pero me imagino esto en invierno debe ser super interesante para visitar.🌍🗺️

We arrived at a Portuguese village that belongs to Braga, it is very far north of the country, almost considered a border, quite pretty, clean and with several things to visit, the city center stands out for the presence of the Monastery, it is not one of the oldest in Portugal, having only been founded in the Age of Discoveries XV🚩📸

Although the city was named "city" in the 15th century, this village already existed long before, the first record of the monastery is from the 11th century, in 1131 Alfonso gave the monastery a letter to convert it into a "clean and sacred site"; however, before the 17th century the building did not have this appearance nor was it so complex, only from 1755 after the Lisbon earthquake were works carried out to expand some rooms, in 1834 when the religious orders were extinguished in Portugal the monastery became a space "of public interest"🗺️🌍
A pesar de que la ciudad recibió la denominación de "ciudad" en el siglo XV ya esta aldea existía mucho antes, el primer registro que se tiene del monasterio es del siglo XI, en 1131 Alfonso entrego una carta al monasterio para convertirlo en "sitio limpio y sagrado"; sin embargo, antes del periodo de XVII el edificio no tenía este aspecto ni era tan complejo, solo a partir de 1755 luego del terremoto de Lisboa se realizaron obras para expandir algunas salas, en 1834 cuando se extingue de Portugal las órdenes religiosas ya el monasterio pasa a ser un espacio "de interés público"🧭🗺️

ja, ja las apariencias engañan muy critalina y todo pero tal vez reciba aguas resisiduales de las empresas 😁
Si aqui en Portugal a las cañadas le llaman ríos no lo vemos tan despectivamente como sur América pero mira que reciben full contaminación jajjaa un país que vive de turismo tiene que explotar lo mínimo..
Y se ve muy bonita, el entorno también lo es, pero solo para mirar y de lejos 😎
