Stopping by this lovely community to leave you a new post, today I bring you a little bit of everything, we are going to visit a quarry where I took my daughter to learn about dinosaurs and at night we are going to visit the Gonzagalez restaurant, but for the first time I am going to try a tomahawk, possibly you have read or seen the cut of this meat considered (premium), quite an experience for the palate! Get ready to travel with me to two beautiful experiences in one sunny day.🌅📍

Pasando por esta linda comunidad para dejarles un nuevo post, hoy les traigo de todo un poco, vamos a visitar una cantera donde lleve a mi hija para aprender sobre dinosaurios y en la noche vamos a visitar el restaurante Gonzagalez, pero por primera vez voy a probar un tomahawk posiblemente alguna vez leístas o vistes el corte de esta carne considerada (premium) toda una experiencia para el paladar! Prepárate que viajaras conmigo a dos hermosas experiencias en un día soleado.🦕🚙

A long time ago we visited the natural monument and promised to return because they were doing a rediscovery of other footprints near the quarry, apparently they have already opened to the public and exhibited them for us to enjoy this archaeological beauty with more than 130 million years, this entire area that I photographed with my drone is nothing more than an extraction area of limestone rocks for commercial sale and where several of the most important discoveries of Sesimbra were made, as they always say around here the best things always appear "by chance".🦕🚙
Hace mucho tiempo visitamos el monumento natural y prometimos regresar porque estaban realizando un redescubrimiento de otras huellas cerca de la cantera, aparentemente ya abrieron al público y las expusieron para nosotros disfrutar de esta belleza arqueológica con más de 130 millones de años, toda esta zona que fotografíe con mi drone no es más que la un área de extracción de rocas de caliza para venta comercial y donde se hicieron varios de los descubrimientos más importantes de Sesimbra, como siempre dicen por allí las mejores cosas siempre aparecen "por casualidad".🌅
I don't want to go into too much detail about the dinosaurs because I've had material published here on my account for many months, so I recommend you visit my previous posts to learn more about the natural monument, which was listed as a protected reserve in 1994. It's always open to the public, free, and has many signs explaining everything about the footprints.🦊👧🏻

The first time I visited the reserve, this stone wasn't there. I read that it was cut from the main piece and placed at the entrance to the site. To get an idea of what a set of fossilized footprints looked like, we couldn't clearly distinguish anything with the naked eye because there were dozens of them piled up on top of each other, ranging from predators to adult sauropods.📍🏞️
La primera vez que visite la reserva esta piedra no estaba aqui lei que la cortaron de la pieza principal y la colocaron en la entrada del sitio como tener una idea de como eran un conjunto de huellas fosilizadas, claramente a simple vista no conseguimos distinguir nada porque son decenas de ellas juntas una sobre otras, hay desde depredadores hasta adultos saurópodos.📸😁
Now we have this large piece of clean limestone, over 6 meters long and with a thirty-degree incline, ready for us to admire more footprints. In total, there are 8 footprints that also date back to 130 million years ago, the Upper Jurassic, when giant species lived. These footprints were important in determining the speed of a Sauropod, a dinosaur that walks on all fours! Based on the arrangement and distance between footprints, it was concluded that they could walk between 1.5 and 3 km/h, and that was the reason that led me to revisit the site.🌅🚙
¡Ahora tenemos esta gran pieza de piedra caliza limpia con más de 6 metros y con una inclinación de treinta grados, dispuesta para nosotros admirar más huellas en total son 8 pisadas que también datan de los 130 millones de años exactamente el jurásico superior cuando vivían especies gigantes, estas de aquí fueron importantes para determinar la velocidad de un Sauropodo o sea un dinosaurio que camina en cuatro patas! Con la disposición y distancia entre huellas se concluyo que podían caminar entre 1.5 y 3 km/h y fue el motivo que me llevo a volver a visitar el local.🏞️📍

Today we returned, but with high expectations because we were going to try premium meat for the first time, that is, a dish that costs around 100 euros. If you live in England, maybe a 150 euro dinner is nothing for you, but I remind you that the minimum wage in Portugal is only 700 euros, so it's an experience that only happens once a year!👨🏻🥩👩🏻
¡Ya había visitado hace tres años el local y me llevé una buena experiencia, hoy volvimos, pero con altas expectativas porque iríamos a probar por primera vez una carne premium o sea un plato que ronda los 100 euros, si vives en Inglaterra a lo mejor una cena de 150 euros no es nada para ti, pero te recuerdo que el sueldo mínimo de Portugal son solo 700 euros, por tanto, es una experiencia de pocas al año!📍🚙
We ordered beers to drink, and as an appetizer a cheese board and a paia, the first comes accompanied with bread, costs around 8 euros and includes several cheeses from the region, the paia is a Portuguese name for a very juicy and fatty cut of pork, excellent to accompany with toasted bread (7 euros).📍
Pedimos para beber cervezas, y como aperitivo una tabla de quesos y una paia, la primera viene acompañado con pan, ronda los 8 euros y trae varios quesos de la región todos, la paia es un nombre Portugués de un corte de carne de cerdo muy jugosa y grasosa excelente para acompañar con pan tostado (7 euros).🥩
The starters were wonderful, no complaints. The service is always top-notch. They're very professional and friendly. They always remember the faces of the diners. The owner is very knowledgeable about what he serves and explains the origins of all the meats he sells.🍖🥩
Estaban de maravilla los platos iniciales, ninguna crítica, la atención siempre es top aquí son bastante profesionales y muy familiares, recuerdan siempre las caras de los comensales, el dueño es muy experto en lo que sirve, te explica todos los orígenes de las carnes que vende.👨🏻👩🏻
So this is the 80 euro dish, the famous tomahawk is a cut of beef taken from the front of the ribs, and it is served even with its bone because the shape of the bone looks like an axe, is where the name comes from, it is said that it is a feast for your senses because the outside is fattier than the inside and even the one that remains on the bone, so it seems that you are tasting three flavors at the same time! ¡Entonces este es el plato de 80 euros, el famoso tomahawk es un corte de carne de vaca extraído de la parte frontal de las costillas, y se sirve hasta con su hueso por la forma del hueso que parece un hacha, es que viene el origen del nombre, se dice que es una fiesta para tus sentidos porque la parte exterior es más grasosa que la interior e inclusive la que queda en el hueso por ello parece que estás probando tres sabores al mismo tiempo! Me gusto,📸👩🏻🏫
