I hope you are well and in good spirits. My husband @bilgin70 had been to Ordu a few times before. But he hadn't had the chance to explore. This summer holiday, my husband and I visited Yason Burnu, a natural wonder located in the Perşembe district of Ordu. It was a place he would love, so I chose this location.

Umarım iyisinizdir ve keyfiniz yerindedir. Eşim @bilgin70 daha önce birkaç defa Ordu'ya gelmişti. Ama gezmeye fırsat olmamıştı. Bu yaz tatilinde eşimle Ordu'nun Perşembe ilçesinde bulunan ve doğa harikası olan Yason Burnu'nu ziyaret ettik. Hayran kalacağı bir yerdi o yüzden bu mekanı seçmeyi tercih ettim.

The weather was very rainy and foggy. We were undecided about whether to go or not. Because the seaside would be foggy and rainy, the view would be obscured by the fog and it would be cold. We later decided to go. Fortunately, Korgan district is at a high altitude, so it was rainy and foggy there. When we descended to sea level, the weather was very warm and a cool breeze was blowing. Our decision did not disappoint us. We were very happy.

Havalar çok yağmurlu ve sisliydi. Gitmek ve gitmemek arasında kararsız kaldık. Çünkü deniz kenarı sisli ve yağmurlu olacak, sisten dolayı manzara kapanmış ve soğuk olacaktı. Daha sonra gitmeye karar verdik. Neyseki Korgan ilçesi yüksek rakımda olduğu için yağmurlu ve sisliymiş. Daha deniz seviyesine indiğimizde havalar çok sıcak ve serin serin esiyordu. Verdiğimiz karar bizi yanıltmadı. Çok mutlu olmuştuk.

We arrived after an hour's drive. I had been here many times before. Every time I come, I feel the same happiness. I felt the coolness, cleanliness and tranquillity as soon as I got out of the car. There is a certain order. Cars are not allowed inside. There is a car park. We can park in this car park for a fee. The price was quite reasonable. We parked the car and crossed the security barrier.

Bir saat yolculuğumuzun ardından gelmiştik. Buraya daha önce çok defa gelmiştim. Her geldiğimde aynı mutluluğu hissediyorum. Serin, temiz ve huzuru arabadan iner inmez hissetmiştim. Belli bir düzen var. Arabalar içeriye girmesi yasak. Park alanı var. Bu park alanına ücret karşılığında park edebiliyoruz. Fiyatı da gayet uygundu. Bizde arabayı park edip güvenlik şeridini geçtik.

There were shops selling local goods. Local magnets, baskets, T-shirts, honey, hazelnut coffee. What caught my attention most were the local shoes. They were made from a type of fabric called peştamal, which is unique to the Black Sea region. They looked very nice. I had seen shawls, hair clips, bandanas and headbands made from this fabric, but this was the first time I had seen it used to make shoes. They looked very cute. Later, the T-shirts caught my wife's attention. They had words written on them in the Black Sea dialect. We chatted about this for a while.

Yöresel eşyalar satan dükkanlar vardı.Yöresel magnetler, sepet, tişört, bal, fındıklı kahve. En çok dikkatimi yöresel pabuç dikaktimi çekti. Karedenize özgü peştamal dediğimiz kumaş türünden yapılmış. Çok hoş duruyordu. Bu kumaşın şalı, toka, bandana ve tacını görmüştüm ama ilk defa pabuç yapıldığını gördüm. Çok tatlı duruyordu. Daha sonra tişörtler eşimin dikkatini çekmiş. Üzerinde Karadeniz şivesiyle yazılmış yazılar vardı. Bunun üzerine biraz sohbet ettik.

When I arrived, I noticed that Cape Yason had developed considerably. There were few local shops. There was a café right next to the shops. It stood magnificently facing the sea. We wanted to sit here and enjoy the view. We would continue our tour later. It was magnificent. It had done my soul a world of good after such a long time. We chatted amidst the beauty of the view and also felt refreshed.

Bu geldiğimde farkettim ki Yason Burnu bir hayli gelişim göstermiş. Böyle yöresel dükkanların varlığı azdı. Dükkanların hemen yanında kafe vardı. Denize karşı muhteşem duruyordu. Burada oturmak ve manzaranın tadını çıkarmak istedik. Daha sonra gezimize devam edecektik. Muhteşemdi. Uzun zaman sonra ruhuma çok iyi gelmişti. Manzaranın güzelliğinde sohbet ettik, ayrıca dinlenmiş de olduk.

When we left the café, there were inscriptions right in front of us. There was an information board about the inscriptions on the side. It was written in both Turkish and English. ‘The Golden Fleece Legend’
The story took place in ancient times and was caused by a dispute over the throne. It told of the struggle to find the golden fleece, on the condition that the throne would be returned if it was brought back.

Kafeden kalktığımızda hemen karşımızda kitabeler vardı. Kitabelerin hakkında ise yan tarafında bilgilendirme tablosu vardı. Hem Türkçe hem İngilizce şeklinde yazıyordu. "Altın Post Efsanesi "
Hikaye çok eski zamanlarda taht kavgası yüzünden meydana gelmiş. Altın postu getirme şartıyla tahtın geri verileceği, ve altın postu bulma mücadelesi anlatıyordu.

We continued our tour in the cool sea breeze. Here stood the Yason Church and the lighthouse. The church was built by the Greeks in 1869. It has since undergone restoration work. I have probably visited this church many times, but each time I explore it with the same excitement. It was usually so crowded that it was impossible to stay inside for long. We had to make short visits and leave. But this time, the church was empty. I had the opportunity to examine the church more comfortably. The stonework was truly impressive. It was a structure worthy of its history.

Denizin serinligiyle gezimize devam ettik. Burada Yason kilisesi ve deniz feneri bulunuyordu.Kilise 1869 yılında Rumlar tarafından yapılmış. Daha sonra restorasyon çalışmaları olmuş. Bu kilisiye belki çok defa geldim ama her seferinde aynı heyecanla kiliseyi geziyorum. Genelde çok kalabalık olduğu için içeride uzun durmak mümkün olmuyordu. Kısa kısa ziyaret edip dışarı çıkmak zorunda kalıyorduk. Ama bu geldiğimde kilisenin içi boştu. Kiliseyi daha rahat inceleme fırsatı buldum. Gerçekten taş işçiliği kendini göstermişti. Tarihe yakışan bir yapıydı.

After visiting the church, we started walking towards the tip where the lighthouse is. The view was magnificent. It was peaceful. Sun loungers had been placed along the edge of the sea. It was lovely to stretch out our legs and enjoy the view. But I found it a bit funny that there were sun loungers here. 🙂
We continued walking; there was a large crowd. People were showing a lot of interest in this place. It was truly a place to admire, and one I would never want to leave.

Kilise ziyaretinden sonra fenerin olduğu uç kısma yürümeye başladık. Manzara harika. Huzur doluydu. Denize kenar kısımlara şezlonglar yerleştirilmişti. Ayaklarımızı uzatıp manzaranın tadını çıkarma fırsatı çok güzeldi. Ama burda şezlongların olması bana biraz komik geldi.🙂
Yürümeye devam ediyorduk, yoğun bir kalabalık vardı. İnsanlar aşırı ilgi gösteriyordu buraya. Gerçekten hayran kalınası ve hiç gitmek istemeyeceğim bir yer benim için.

As we approached the lighthouse, we were nearing the end. After enjoying the view here, we turned back to go to Hoynat Island, near Cape Yason. Fifteen minutes later, we were at Hoynat Island. I had to bring my wife here. This place is memorable for its beauty and is also known as the island of lovers.

Fener'e yaklaştığımızda sona doğru da gelmiştik. Burada manzaranın tadını çıkardıktan sonra Yason Burnuna yakın olan Hoynat adasına gitmek için geri döndük. 15 dakika sonra Hoynat adasındaydık. Eşimi buraya getirmesem olmazdı. Burası hem güzelliğiyle akıllarda kalıyor hem de aşıklar adası olarak biliniyor.

Hoynat Island is located on the Perşembe-Fatsa district road in the Perşembe district of Ordu. There is a tunnel right next to the island. As the island is immediately after the tunnel exit, this area seems dangerous to me. Children and people standing at the edge need to be very careful. This road was previously used as a bypass. Now, as it is only used for travel between districts, the traffic is lighter and the danger is reduced. In this respect, it is really good that the bypass was moved elsewhere.

Hoynat adası Ordu'nun Perşembe ilçesinde perşembe-fatsa ilçe yolunun üzerinde bulunuyor. Adanın hemen yanında tünel bulunuyor. Tünelden çıkınca hemen ada olduğu için bana tehlikeli geliyor burası. Çocuklar veya kenarda duran insanların çok dikkatli olması gerekiyor.Bu yol daha önce çevre yolu olarak kullanıyordu. Şimdi ise sadece ilçeler arası gidiş geliş için kullanıldığı için trafik daha rahat ve tehlike daha az. Bu yönden çevre yolunun başka yere yapılması güzel oldu gerçekten.

Another feature of the island is that it is home to several species of birds. Some bird species breed here.
The island is known as Lovers' Island. Perhaps because of this, there are many marriage proposals here. I have witnessed several proposals here myself. When I arrived, I looked around to see if there were any marriage proposals, but there weren't any.😀
There is a wooden staircase on the island that leads down to the seashore. You can go down to the seashore from here. We didn't want to go down. It was more enjoyable to watch the view from behind the willow tree. After enjoying the view here, we ended the day. It was a very enjoyable and peaceful trip. The Black Sea offered us wonderful views with its blend of green and blue. I recommend everyone who passes by to come and breathe in this air.

Adanın diğer özellikleri ise bazı kuş türlerinin de ev sahipliği yapması. Bazı kuş türleri burada üreme yapıyor.
Ada aşıklar adası olarak anılıyor. Bu sebepden olacak ki evlenme teklifleri çok oluyor burada. Bende burada bir kaç defa teklif yapılırken görmüştüm. Bu geldiğimde evlilik teklifi var mı diye bir etrafa göz attım ama yoktu.😀
Adada deniz kıyısına inen tahtadan yapılmış merdiven var. Buradan deniz kıyısına inilebiliniyor. Biz inmek istemedik. Söğüt ağacı ardından manzarayı seyretmek daha keyifliydi. Burada da manzarayı seyrettikten sonra günü bitirdik. Çok keyifli ve huzurlu bir geziydi. Karadeniz yeşil ve mavinin birleşimiyle harika manzaralar sunuyordu bize. Yolu düşen herkesin gelmesini, bu havayı solumasını tavsiye ederim.
