Today I will share the Beylerbeyi palace. I have been to the Beylerbeyi palace before. Actually, I went twice, first with my wife and then with my brothers. Today I will share the last time I went with my sister.

Bugün Beylerbeyi sarayını paylaşacağım. Beylerbeyi sarayına daha önceden gitmiştim. Aslında iki kere gittim. İlkinde eşimle daha sonrasında kardeşlerimle gitmiştim. Ben bugün en son yani kız kardeşimle gittiğimi paylaşacağım.

When we went to Beylerbeyi palace, there was a long queue at the entrance because it was a semester holiday. Entrances are with a museum card. Those without a museum card bought tickets at the entrance. Tickets are more expensive than the museum card. I recommend those who want to go to download the museum card application or issue a card. Thus, the transactions are also fast.

Beylerbeyi sarayına gittiğimizde sömestir tatili olduğu için girişte çok sıra vardı. Girişler müze kartıyla oluyor. Müze kartı olmayanlar girişte bilet satın alıyordu. Biletler müze kartına göre daha pahalı. Gitmek isteyenlere müze kartı uygulaması indirmeleri veya kart çıkarmalarını tavsiye ediyorum. Böylece işlemler de hızlı oluyor.

After waiting for a while, we did the check-in process and went inside. The garden was the first place we came across. We walked for a few minutes. The wall facing the entrance garden of the palace is closed because it is under renovation. The entrances were made through the door opening to the Bosphorus. Even before entering the gate, the view looked very beautiful. The gate opening to the Bosphorus attracted the attention of visitors with its splendour. There was a queue for photographs. Everyone was taking photos in a polite way. Those passing through the gate also allowed them to take photos.

Biraz bekledikten sonra giriş işlemi yapıp içeriye girdik. Karşımıza ilk bahçe çıktı. Bir kaç dakika yürüdük. Sarayın giriş bahçesine bakan duvarı tadilatta olduğu için kapalı. Girişler boğaza açılan kapıdan yapılıyordu. Kapıdan girmeden bile manzara çok güzel görünüyordu. Boğaza açılan kapı ihtişamıyla ziyaretçilerin ilgisini çekmişti. Fotoğraf sırası oluşmuştu. Herkes kibar bir şekilde sırayla fotoğraf çekiliyor. Kapıdan geçenler de fotoğraf çekilmelerine müsade ediyordu.

When we entered the door opening to the Bosphorus, we suddenly came nose to nose with the Bosphorus. The view, the air was perfect and peaceful. 15 July Martyrs Bridge added beauty to the beauty of the view. There were benches on the sides to sit while watching the view. There was the sun, but we didn't stop here because the Bosphorus was blowing. We walked and came to the gate opening to the other garden. This gate was as magnificent as the other gate. There were more people who wanted to take photos at this gate. Because the 15 July bridge was parallel to the view of the palace gate. There was a very beautiful view behind.

Boğaza açılan kapıdan girince birden boğazla burun buruna geldik. Manzarası, havası mükemmel ve huzur doluydu. 15 Temmuz Şehitler köprüsü manzaranın güzelliğine güzellik katmış. This garden of the palace was more remarkable and beautiful. The entrances to the palace were happening until a certain time. Since we went late, the entrances would be closed. So first we visited the inside of the palace and then the garden. We went inside the palace. I couldn't take photos from inside because it was forbidden to take photos. Despite the ban, there were some people taking photos secretly. But I preferred to follow the rules. There was a certain order inside. The tour started from a certain point and went back out from the same point. During our tour, we were not allowed to enter the rooms with red ropes drawn around the edges. We could examine it from a distance.

Sarayın bu bahçesi daha dikkat çekici ve güzeldi. Sarayın içeriye girişler belli bir saate kadar oluyordu. Biz geç gittiğimiz için girişler kapanacaktı. Bu yüzden önce sarayın içini daha sonra bahçesini gezdik. Sarayın içerisine girdik. Fotoğraf çekmek yasak olduğu için içeriden fotoğraf çekemedim. Yasağa rağmen gizlice çekenler vardı. Ama ben kurallara uymayı tercih ettim. İçeride belli bir düzen vardı. Gezmeye belli bir noktadan başlayıp aynı noktadan geri dışarı çıkıyordu. Gezdiğimiz süre boyunca kenarlara kırmızı halat çekilmiş odalara girilmiyor. Uzaktan inceleyebiliyorduk.

Beylerbeyi palace was built by Sultan Abdülaziz. In addition to the rooms of Sultan Abdülaz, there were also rooms of Sultan Abdülhamit. In addition, there were many sections such as Hünkar apartment, Valide Sultan apartment, baths, gift rooms, guest rooms, rest rooms. After visiting a few sections on the ground floor, we came across the hall with a pool. It was placed in the centre of the hall. The water of the pool was drained. It looked very beautiful even without water. There were many mirrors in the palace. It had also taken its place in the hall with the pool.

Beylerbeyi sarayı Sultan Abdülaziz yaptırmıştı. Sultan Abdülaz'in odaları yanında Sultan Abdülhamit'in de odaları yer alıyordu. Bunun yanında Hünkar dairesi, Valide Sultan dairesi, hamamlar, hediye odaları, misafir odaları, dinlenme odaları gibi birçok bölümü vardı. Giriş katta bir kaç bölüm gezdikten sonra havuzlu salon karşımıza çıktı. Salonun ortasına yerleştirilmişti. Havuzun suyu boşaltılmış. Susuz haliyle bile çok güzel duruyordu. Sarayda çok sayıda ayna vardı. Havuzun olduğu salonda da yerini almıştı.

When we went upstairs, there was a pearl parlour, a rest room, a gift room. The large hall in the lower floor was also on the upper floor. In this hall, kitchen utensils such as dinner sets and cup sets were exhibited. They looked very glamorous. There were mirrors in this hall too. There was a big vase next to it. There were crying birds and flower motifs embroidered on the outside of the vase. The motif was not only on the vase but there were columns with blue coloured motifs. Quartets were written on the ceiling. Everywhere inside the palace was splendid and glamorous.

Üst kata çıktığımızda sedefli salon, dinlenme odası, hediye odası vardı. Alt kalttaki büyük salon aynı şekilde üst katta da vardı. Bu salonda yemek takımları ve fincan takımları gibi mutfak eşyalarından eşyalar sergilenmişti. Çok göz alıcı duruyorlardı. Bu salonda da aynalar vardı. Bunun yanında büyük bir vazo vardı. Vazonun dışında ağlayan kuşlar ve çiçek motifleri işlenmişti. Motif sadece vazoda değil mavi renkli motifli sütunlar vardı. Tavana dörtlükler yazılmıştı. Sarayın içerisinin her yeri ayrı ihtişamlı ayrı göz alıcıydı.

After visiting the interior completely, we went back to the garden. In the middle of the garden there was a pool and various trees. A certain area was reserved only for bamboo trees. There were also lion statues in the garden. The lion sculptures were standing catching their prey. Then, after sitting on the benches of this beautiful garden for a while, we headed towards the exit of the palace.

İç kısmı tamamen gezdikten sonra bahçeye tekrar çıktık. Bahçenin ortasında havuz ,çeşitli çeşitli ağaçlar vardı. Belli bir alan sadece bambu ağaçlarına ayrılmış. Bunun yanında bahçede aslan heykelleri de vardı. Aslan heykelleri avını yakalamış şekilde duruyordu. Dikkatimi çekti biraz inceledim. Daha sonra bu güzel bahçenin bankalarında biraz oturduktan sonra saraydan çıkışa doğru ilerledik.

Since it was the closing time of the palace, the crowd had decreased. So we left the palace. For dinner we thought to eat at the restaurant next to the palace. After walking five minutes after leaving the palace, we went to the restaurant. My husband had come from work and we all had a pleasant dinner together against the Bosphorus view. We closed our day with this meal.

*Sarayın kapanış saati olduğu için kalabalık azalmıştı. Bizde saraydan çıktık. Akşam yemeği için sarayın yan tarafında bulunan restorantta yemek yemeyi düşündük. Sarayda çıktıktan beş dakika yürüdükten sonra restoranta geçtik. Eşimde işten gelmişti hep birlikte boğaz manzarasına karşı keyifli akşam yemeği yedik. Bu yemekle birlikte günümüzü kapattık.
