Winter diaries/ Kış Günlükleri
Hello everyone, I hope you are well and everything is going smoothly. I don't know what the weather is like where you are, but it's very cold in Istanbul. Especially in the last week, the weather conditions have been anything but normal. Actually, almost everywhere in Turkey is complaining about the same thing this year. I was back home two weeks ago, and I don't remember ever seeing or feeling such cold weather before.
I hope the weather is nice where you are. Of course, there are positive aspects too, no doubt about it. The snow and rain have fallen more than expected.
Herkese merhaba, umarım iyisinizdir ve her şey yolundadır. Bulunduğunuz bölgede havalar nasıldır bilmiyorum ama İstanbul’da havalar çok soğuk. Özellikle son bir haftadır hava şartları hiç normal değil. Gerçi bu sene Türkiye’nin hemen hemen her yeri aynı konudan dolayı şikayetçi. İki hafta önce memleketteydim ve daha önce öyle bir soğuk gördüğümü, hissettiğimi hatırlamıyorum.
Umarım sizin oralarda havalar güzeldir. Tabi olumlu yanları da var hiç şüphesiz. Kar ve yağmur yağışı beklenilenden daha çok yağdı.
The photos I'm sharing today are from about a month ago. We weren't going outside unless we had to because of the cold weather. My wife, in particular, was a bit annoyed by this situation. That day, the weather was a bit warmer than other days. We didn't want to miss this opportunity. :)
Bugün ki paylaşacağım fotoğraflar yaklaşık bir ay öncesine ait. Soğuk havalardan dolayı zorunlu olmadıkça dışarı çıkmıyorduk. Özellikle eşim bu durumdan biraz şikayetçiydi. O gün havalar diğer günlere oranla biraz daha sıcaktı. Bu fırsatı kaçırmak istemedik. :)
My wife made tea and put it in a thermos, and I grabbed some snacks and we quickly went outside. We went to a park very close to our house. Others who had the same idea as us, taking advantage of the beautiful weather, were spending time in the park. Young people walking with their children, chatting, elderly ladies, and many others.
Eşim çay demleyip termosa koydu ben de atıştırmalık bir şeyler alıp hızlıca dışarı çıktık. Gittiğimiz yer eve çok yakın bir konumda bulunan parktı. Bizimle aynı düşüncede olan, havanın güzelliğini fırsat bilenler parkta vakit geçiriyordu. Çocuğuyla yürüyüşe çıkan, muhabbet eden gençler, yaşlı teyzeler ve daha niceleri.
After sitting down on an empty bench, I turned on some music quietly on my phone, and we started chatting over tea. It was a lovely day since we hadn't spent time outside in a long time. My wife's mind cleared up and she felt better. After sitting for about 40-45 minutes, we took a short walk in the park and headed home. It was a very pleasant day for us.

Boş bir banka oturduktan sonra telefondan kısık sesle müzik açtım ve çay eşliğinde muhabbet etmeye başladık. Uzun zamandır dışarda vakit geçirmediğimiz için gayet güzel bir gün oldu. Eşimin de zihni toparlandı ve kendini daha iyi hissetti. 40-45 dakika kadar oturduktan sonra parkın içinde kısa bir yürüyüş yaptık ve eve doğru yol aldık. Gayet keyifli bir gün oldu bizim için.
