Some Memories from Friday/ Cuma Gününden Bazı Anılar 🌱

Hello everyone, I hope you are well and everything is fine. I have been having active days for a few days. Until two weeks ago, I could not go out much because of the hot weather. Fortunately, the hot and humid weather has been replaced by a cooler weather. The weather has been very nice especially for 4-5 days. Therefore, I do not stay at home too much. I spend time outside in my free time.

Herkese merhaba, umarım iyisinizdir ve her şey yolundadır. Birkaç gündür hareketli günler geçiriyorum. İki hafta öncesine kadar sıcak havalardan dolayı dışarı çok fazla çıkamıyordum. Neyseki sıcak ve nemli hava yerini daha serin bir havaya bıraktı. Özellikle 4-5 gündür havalar çok güzel. Dolayısıyla evde çok fazla durmuyorum. Boş vakitlerimde dışarda vakit geçiriyorum.

Yesterday, I left home at noon and had breakfast at the rural pita shop I regularly visit. Since it is close to my house, I regularly buy pita, bagel and pastry from here. I have become friendly with the owner. He brings the pita bread with tea without telling me what to order. 🙂
I couldn't share it because I forgot to take a photo.
After leaving here, I went to the hairdresser to shave.

Dün öğlen vakitlerinde evden çıktım ve düzenli olarak uğradığım kır pidecisinde kahvaltı yaptım. Evime yakın olduğu için düzenli olarak buradan pide, simit, poğaça alıyorum. İşletme sahibi ile artık samimi olduk. Ne sipariş edeceğimi söylemeden çayla birlikte pideyi getiriyor. 🙂

I changed my hairdresser I have been going to for about a year. The reason is that he increased his fee too much and no longer cares much because he sees me as a guaranteed customer. When I went to the hairdresser I went to yesterday, there was a queue. They asked for my phone number and said they would call me when they were available. While waiting in the queue for the hairdresser, I went to the ice cream shop to pass the time. I had never bought ice cream here before and it tasted very good.

Yaklaşık bir yıldır gittiğim kuaförümü değiştirdim. Nedeni ise ücretini çok fazla artırması ve artık beni garanti müşteri olarak gördüğü için fazla ilgilenmemesi. Dünki gittiğim kuaföre gittiğimde biraz sıra vardı. Telefon numaramı istediler ve müsait olduklarında beni arayacaklarını söylediler. Kuaför sırası beklerken vakit geçirmek için dondurmacıya girdim. Buradan daha önce hiç dondurma almamıştım tadı çok güzeldi.

After eating the ice cream, I went to a nearby park and sat for a while. The grandfather and his grandson sitting next to me were feeding the pigeons. The pigeons must have got so used to the boy that they were taking feed from his palm. It was really a very beautiful sight. After watching for a while, I went to a shady area and sat on an empty bench and before long the barber called and I went back to the hairdresser for a shave. After about 45 minutes I was done shaving. He cut and cared much better than the previous barber. Maybe he acted this way because I was his new customer. I hope he will continue the same interest in the coming months.

Dondurmayı yedikten sonra yakınlarda bulunan bir parka gidip bir müddet oturdum. Yan tarafımda oturan dede ve torunu güvercinleri besliyordu. Güvercinler çocuğa o kadar alışmış olmalı ki avucunun içinde yem alıyorlardı. Gerçekten çok güzel bir görüntü idi. Bir müddet izledikten sonra gölgelik bir alana geçip boş bir bankta oturdum ve çok vakit geçmeden berber aradı ve traş olmak için kuaföre tekrardan gittim. Yaklaşık 45 dakika sonra traşım bitti. Önceki berbere göre çok daha güzel kesti ve ilgilendi. Belkide yeni müşterisi olduğum için bu şekilde davrandı. Umarım aynı ilgiyi önümüzdeki aylarda da devam ettirir.

After leaving the hairdresser, I went to the café and drank tea. I hadn't had tea in an open area for a long time. It felt so good to drink fresh tea in the shade of the trees. Moreover, the price was very reasonable. I paid 10 Turkish Liras for a cup of tea, about 1 Hive.
Lastly, I would like to share the kokoreçi I went to the other day at night in Üsküdar. If it was closer to my house, I would probably go there much more often. Because I like the taste very much, they do their job well.

Kuaförden çıktıktan sonra kıraathaneye gidip çay içtim. Uzun zamandır açık alanda çay içmemiştim. Ağaçların gölgesinde taze çay içmek çok iyi geldi. Üstelik fiyatı da çok uygund. Bir çaya 10 Türk Lirası ödedim, yaklaşık 1 Hive.
Son olarak geçen gün, gece vakitlerinde Üsküdar’da gittiğim kokoreççiyi paylaşmak istiyorum. Evime yakın olsa muhtemelen çok daha sık giderim. Çünkü tadını çok seviyorum. İşlerini iyi yapıyorlar.
