Pleasant Times and Neighbourhood Market /Keyifli Vakitler ve Semt Pazarı 🌙

Hello everyone, I hope you're well.
My wife went to her hometown for holiday last night, so I'm a little bitter. Apart from that, everything is fine for now. After my wife's exam, we made a small Istanbul tour for her to clear her head. This will be the subject of today's post.

Eşim dün akşam tatil için memleketine gitti bu yüzden içim biraz buruk. Onun dışında şuan için her şey yolunda. Eşimin sınavından sonra kafasını toparlaması için küçük bir İstanbul turu yaptık. Bugünki gönderimin konusu bu olacak.

The day after the exam, we met our friends in Üsküdar and took a walk on the beach. With the arrival of summer, the crowd of people on the beach has increased. While walking on the walkway, we had a lot of difficulty due to the human traffic. Fishing, those who came to enjoy the view with their mate and friends, peddlers and many more. Since I was interested in fishing, I watched the fishermen for a short time. The person I asked for permission to take photos jokingly demanded money from me.
This was an interesting memory. 😄

Sınavdan sonraki gün samimi olduğumuz arkadaşlarlar Üsküdar’da buluşup sahilde yürüyüş yaptık. Yazın gelmesiyle birlikte sahilde insan kalabalığı artmış. Yürüyüş yolundan yürürken insan trafiğinden dolayı bayağı zorlandık. Balık tutan, eşi-dostuyla manzaranın tadını çıkarmaya gelenler, seyyar satıcılar ve daha niceleri. Balık tutmaya ilgim olduğu için kısa süreliğine balıkçıları izledim. Fotoğraf çekmek için izin istediğim kişi şakayla karışık benden para talep etti.
Bu da ilginç bir anım oldu. 😄

After walking along the coastal road, we went to the tea centre, which is famous for the Valley of the Wolves series. I had been here many times before. To be honest, it doesn't have much charm. It does not reflect the atmosphere in the series at all. It serves purely for commercial purposes. Drinks and other products were quite expensive. So I don't recommend it very much. If my friends had seen it before, we probably wouldn't have visited it.

Sahil yolundan yürüdükten sonra Kurtlar Vadisi dizisiyle meşhur olan çay ocağına gittik. Daha önce buraya birçok kez gitmiştim. Açık konuşmak gerekirse çok fazla bir çekiciliği yok. Dizideki atmosferi hiç yansıtmıyor. Tamamen ticaret amaçlı hizmet veriyor. İçecekler ve diğer ürünler de oldukça pahalıydı. Dolayısıyla çok fazla tavsiye etmiyorum. Arkadaşlarım daha önce görmüş olsaydı muhtemelen uğramazdık.

We went to Fethi Pasha grove by bus in the evening. It was not too crowded but there was excessive humidity. Actually, our intention was to go to the cafe beyond the grove, but since it was closed, we sat here. After ordering something cold, we both chatted and rested. After leaving here, we went to the ice cream shop and closed the day in this way. It was a tiring day but it was good.

Akşam saatlerinde otobüsle Fethi Paşa korusuna geçtik. Çok fazla kalabalık değildi ancak aşırı nem vardı. Aslında bizim niyetimizde korunun ilerisindeki kafeye gitmek vardı kapalı olduğu için buraya oturduk. Soğuk bir şeyler sipariş ettikten sonra hem sohbet ettik hem de dinlendik. Buradan da çıktıktan sonra dondurmacıya gittik ve günü bu şekilde kapattık. Yorucu bir gündü ancak güzeldi.

Yesterday at noon we went to the neighbourhood market close to our house. After Kadıköy, we have developed a market culture. The place we went to yesterday was a little smaller and it was a market established mostly on textiles. It was a little more expensive than Kadıköy. While we were here, we shopped because it was not possible for my wife to return empty from the market. 😅

Dün öğlen vakitlerinde ise eve yakın bir konumda bulunan semt pazarına gittik. Kadıköy’den sonra bizde pazar kültürü oluştu. Dünki gittiğimiz yer biraz daha küçüktü ve daha çok tekstil üzerine kurulan bir pazardı. Fiyat olarak Kadıköy’e göre biraz daha pahalıydı. Buraya kadar gelmişken eşimin pazardan boş dönmesi mümkün olmadığı için alışveriş yaptık. 😅

It was not very crowded inside the market. When I searched on the internet, I saw that it was established in recent years. Probably that's why it is only recently recognised. I bought a few items that caught my attention and that I thought would be useful for me. After my wife bought some things for herself, we bought some souvenir clothes for her family.

Pazarın içerisi de çok kalabalık değildi. İnternetten araştırdığımda yakın yıllarda kurulduğunu görmüştüm. Muhtemelen bu yüzden yeni yeni tanınıyor. Pazarda dikkatimi çeken, işime yarayacağını düşündüğüm birkaç parça eşya ben de aldım. Eşim de kendine bir şeyler aldıktan sonra ailesine hediyelik giysiler aldık.

There was a shopkeeper who stood on the counter and tried to attract the attention of customers and was trying to advertise very loudly. 😅He was quite successful. The front of the stall was full of people.
It seemed repulsive to me for some reason. Even with bare feet, he can involuntarily step on clothes. This would not be a pleasant sight.

Pazarda tuhafıma giden bir olayla karşılaştım. Tezgahın üzerine çıkıp müşterilerin dikkatini çekmeye çalışan bir esnaf vardı ve çok yüksek sesle reklamını yapmaya çalışıyordu. 😅 Oldukça da başarılıydı. Tezgahın önü insanla doluydu.
Bana nedense itici geldi. Çıplak ayakla da olsa istemsizce elbiselere basabilir. Bu da hoş bir görüntü olmaz.

There were also very cheap products in terms of price. For example, we bought 2 porcelain plates for 100 Turkish Liras. When my wife said that they were 150-200 liras each outside, I felt like we got them for free. 😅
We spent about 1 hour in the market and walked to the bus stop again.

Fiyat olarak çok ucuz ürünler de vardı. Örneğin 2 adet porselen tabağı 100 Türk Lirasına aldık. Eşim dışarda tanesinin 150-200 lira olduğunu söylediğinde bedavaya aldık gibi hissettim. 😅
Pazarın içerisinde yaklaşık 1 saat vakit geçirdik ve tekrardan otobüs durağının olduğu yere yürüdük.

Since the first bus was full, we had to wait for the next one and we waited for about 20 minutes. Naturally, we were a little tired. The other bus was full, but we couldn't wait any longer, so we got on it even if we were stuck. Since it was rush hour, we stayed in traffic for a while and reached home after a journey of about 1 hour. On the way there, we arrived in about 25 minutes, less than half the time. Therefore, it is useful to go early. This was a lesson for us.
When we came home, we had dinner and rested a little. At 00.00 I dropped my husband to the bus station and I went back home again.

İlk gelen otobüs tıklım tıklım dolu olduğu için diğerini beklemek durumunda kaldık ve yaklaşık 20 dakika bekledik. Haliyle biraz yorulduk. Gelen diğer otobüste doluydu ancak daha fazla beklemeye tahammülümüz kalmadığı için sıkışarak da olsa bindik. İş çıkış saatleri olduğu için biraz trafikte kaldık ve yaklaşık 1 saatlik bir yolculuğun ardından eve ulaştık. Giderken ise 25 dakika gibi bir sürede ulaşmıştık. Yarısından bile daha az bir süre. Dolayısıyla erken vakitlerde gitmekte fayda var. Bu bize ders oldu.
Eve gelince yemek yedik ve biraz dinlendik. Saat 00.00 gibi eşimi otogara bıraktım ben de tekrardan eve döndüm.
