Hello everyone, are you interested in football? How often do you watch the matches of your favourite team? I have said many times that I am a Fenerbahce fan. I used to watch almost all of their matches between 2010-2018 and I would enjoy them even if they collapsed. Especially in recent years, I rarely watched league matches. The matches are no longer as enjoyable as before. There are many reasons for this. First of all, I think the reason is that the team is not united. High-quality, high-level footballers and coaches came to the team, but success did not come because of the lack of unity within the team.

Birçok kez Fenerbahçeli olduğumu söylemiştim. 2010-2018 arası hemen hemen bütün maçlarını izlerdim ve yıkılsa bile keyif alırdım. Özellikle son yıllardaki lig maçlarını nadiren izledim. Maçlar artık eskisi kadar keyif vermiyor. Bunun birçok sebebi var. Öncelikle sebebi ise bence takımın birlik olamaması. Takıma kaliteli, üst düzey futbolcular, teknik direktörler geldi ancak takım içinde birlik olamadıkları için başarı gelmedi.

When we look at the total value of the team, it ranks first in Turkey. It is also in a good position among European clubs, but unfortunately the football played is in the opposite proportion. When this is the case, one does not enjoy the game after a while. I had some hope after the Feyenoord match this year. Takımın toplam değerine baktığımız zaman Türkiye’de birinci sırada. Avrupa kulüpleri arasında da iyi bir konumda ancak oynanan futbol maalesef ters orantılı. Durum böyle olunca insan bir müddet sonra keyif almıyor. Bu sene kazanılan Feyenoord maçından sonra biraz umutlanmıştım. İstanbul’daki maçta takım çok iyi oynamış ve maçı güzel bir skorla kazanmıştı.

To be honest, I wasn't planning to watch the match two days ago. I was bored at home and couldn't find anything to do, so I switched it on. At the end of the match, I could predict that Benfica would be the team that would qualify for the groups. The statements of the coach Mourinho before the match also added to this.
As I expected, the match started with Benfica's superior play. Their home ground and the support of their fans was their biggest advantage.
In the first half, Fenerbahçe was almost non-existent on the pitch. Benfica completely dominated the game. The goal was cancelled due to a foul and I think they deserved it.
Fenerbahce came to life a bit more after the goal. In the second half Benfica played some effective games but Benfica got the win they deserved.

Today morning I woke up to a shocking but good news. I saw that Mourinho was dismissed from the team. Of course, it is indisputable how qualified a coach Mourinho is, but he could not harmonise with Fb. As much as the team has mistakes, Mourinho has mistakes and mistakes with his statements. It was the best for both sides. I hope the management will step down in the same way and Fenerbahçe will get out of the quagmire.

Açık konuşmak gerekirse iki gün önceki maçı izlemeyi düşünmüyordum. Evde sıkılıp yapacak bir şeyde bulamadığım için maçı açtım. Maç sonunda gruplara kalacak olan takımın Benfica olacağını tahmin edebiliyordum. Maçtan önceki teknik direktör Mourinho’nun açıklamaları da bunun cabası.
Maç beklediğim gibi Benfica’nın üstün oyunu ile başladı. Ev sahibi olmaları ve taraftarların desteği en büyük avantajlarıydı.
İlk yarı Fenerbahçe sahada neredeyse hiç yoktu. Benfica oyunu tamamen kendi yönetiyordu. Faul sebebiyle iptal edilen golde de bence hakları yendi.
Fenerbahçe yediği golden sonra biraz daha canlandı. İkinci yarıda da yer yer etkili oyunlar ortaya koysa da Benfica hakettiği galibiyeti aldı.

Bugün sabah şok bir o kadar güzel bir haberle uyandım. Mourinho’nun takımla ilişiğinin kesildiğini gördüm. Mourinho’nun ne kadar kaliteli bir teknik direktör olduğu elbette tartışılamaz ancak Fb ile uyum sağlayamadı. Takımın ne kadar yanlışı varsa yaptığı açıklamalarıyla Mourinho’nun da hataları, yanlışları var. Her iki taraf içinde en iyisi oldu. Umarım yönetim de aynı şekilde görevden çekilir ve Fenerbahçe bataklıktan kurtulur.
