Fenerbahçe vs. Galatasaray Sultanlar League Volleyball Match 🏐

The other day, I went with friends to watch the Fenerbahçe-Galatasaray Sultan League volleyball match. Today's post will be about this match.

Geçtiğimiz günlerde arkadaşlarla birlikte Fenerbahçe-Galatasaray sultanlar ligi voleybol maçını izlemeye gitmiştim. Bugünki gönderimin konusu bu maç olacak.

I wasn't feeling very well in the days leading up to the game. I wanted to take my mind off things and realized that Fener had a game. After talking to a friend, we decided to go to the game. If anyone remembers, I went to Fenerbahçe's final game last year. It was a very enjoyable game, but we lost, which naturally upset me.

Maça gitmeden önceki günlerde keyfim çok yerinde değildi. Kafamı dağıtmak istiyordum ve Fenerin maçı olduğunu fark ettim. Arkadaş ile görüştükten sonra maça gitmeye karar verdik. Hatırlayanlar var ise geçen sene Fenerbahçe’nin final maçına gitmiştim. Çok keyifli bir maçtı ancak maçı kaybetmiştik haliyle bu durum beni üzmüştü.

This match wasn't the final, but it was just as important. Regardless of the sport, Galatasaray matches have always been important to us, from the past to the present. The same is true for Galatasaray itself.
I was working during the day on the day we went to the match, so I was a bit tired when I got home. After eating quickly, we took the subway to the volleyball court where the match was being played.

After entering the hall, we sat down in a nice spot where we could watch the match. Shortly after, the match began.
Although the match didn't start very well for Fenerbahçe, they quickly recovered and closed the first set 1-0 ahead.
Galatasaray also started the second set well. There was a good fight in the later minutes of the match. Although Fb resisted, Gs brought the set to 1-1 in overtime.

Salonun içine girdikten sonra maçı izleyebileceğimiz güzel bir yere oturduk. Kısa bir süre sonra maç başladı.
Maç Fenerbahçe adına çok iyi başlamasa da çok çabuk toparladı ve ilk seti 1-0 önde kapattı.
İkinci sete de Galatasaray iyi başladı. Maçın ilerleyen dakikalarında iyi bir mücadele oldu Fb her ne kadar dirense de Gs uzatmalarda seti 1-1 e getirdi.

In the third set, I can say that individual talents came to the fore for both teams. Fenerbahçe player Eda played especially well and played a major role in winning the set. In the fourth set, Galatasaray's players also played effectively and brought the score to 2-2.

I got excited in the final set, though not as much as the players. Like the other sets, the match started off very competitive. I remembered the Vakıfbank match I watched last year and felt like they were going to lose. Fortunately, the opposite happened, and they made no mistakes, especially in the last 5-6 points, winning the set 15-11 and the match 3-2. With the final point, I joined in the celebrations along with the entire crowd. The atmosphere was truly incredible. I'm so glad I came to the match; it was a great way to relieve stress.

Oyuncular kadar olmasa da ben de son sette heyecanlandım. Diğer setlerdeki gibi maç çok çekişmeli başladı. Geçen seneki izlediğim Vakıfbank maçı aklıma geldi ve kaybetme hissine büründüm. Neyse ki düşündüğümün tersi oldu ve özellikle son 5-6 sayıda hiç hata yapmadı ve seti 15-11 kazanarak maçı 3-2 kazanmış oldular. Son sayıyla birlikte tüm tribün gibi ben de kutlamalara dahil oldum. Gerçekten inanılmaz bir ortam vardı. İyi ki maça gelmişim çok güzel stres attım.
