Do you like Kokoreç? My favourite late-night meal. / Kokoreç Sever Misiniz? Favori Gece Yemeğim. 🥩

Hello everyone, I hope you are in good spirits.
I haven't shared a post about food for a long time. I think the last time I shared about kokoreç again.
Although I tasted kokoreç in different places and places until the last 3-4 months ago, unfortunately I could not warm up to this dish. Each time it was heavy on my stomach and I definitely could not finish the order. A question like this may come to mind. Although I didn't like it every time, why did I persistently keep trying?
As an answer, I can say the following. There are many people in my circle of friends who consume kokoreç and especially when we go to eat at night, they usually consume kokoreç.

Uzun zamandır yemek ile ilgili post post paylaşmamıştım. Sanırım en son yine kokoreç ile ilgili paylaşım yapmıştım.
Son 3-4 ay öncesine kadar farklı yerlerde, mekanlarda kokoreç tatsam da maalesef bir türlü bu yemeğe ısınamamıştım. Her defasında mideme ağır geliyor ve kesinlikle siparişi bitiremiyordum. Akıllara şöyle bir soru gelebilir. Her defasında beğenmememe rağmen niye ısrarla denemeye devam ettim ?
Cevap olarak şunları söyleyebilirim. Arkadaş çevremde kokoreç tüketen birçok kişi var ve özellikle geceleri yemek yemeğe gittiğimiz de genellikle kokoreç tüketiyorlar.

When this was the case, interestingly, I wanted to try it every time. In addition, it kept attracting my attention when I kept coming across it on social media. This year we went to a place in Üsküdar on the recommendation of a friend. He ordered it fully cooked. And I finally found the flavour I was looking for 😅
After that day, I became addicted to it. When I work at night, if I can find free time, I definitely go and eat it.

Durum böyle olunca ilginç bir şekilde her defasında ben de denemek istiyorum. Ayrıca sosyal medyada sürekli karşıma çıkınca dikkatimi çekmeye devam ediyordu. Bu sene Üsküdar’da arkadaşın tavsiyesiyle bir mekana gittik. Kendisi tam pişmiş olarak sipariş etmişti. Ben de aynısından istedim. Ve sonunda aradığım lezzeti bulmuştum. 😅
O günden sonra adeta müptelası oldum. Gece çalıştığım zamanlar boş vakit bulabilirsem kesinlikle gidip yiyorum.

My aim is definitely not to praise or advertise the place. I didn't specify the name anyway. What I'm really talking about is how the kokorec suits my taste buds. When I ordered it in the previous places I went, it came normally cooked and I couldn't eat it. It's all about taste. On the contrary, my other friends do not like it overcooked.

Amacım kesinlikle mekanı övmek ya da reklamını yapmak değil. Zaten isim de belirtmedim. Asıl bahsettiğim konu kokorecin damak tadıma hangi şekillerde uyduğu. Önceki gittiğim yerlerde sipariş ettiğimde normal pişmiş şekilde geliyordu ve bir türlü yiyemiyordum. Tamamen damak tadıyla alakalı bir durum. Diğer arkadaşlarım da aksine çok pişmiş sevmiyor.

Of course, consuming something at night is not suitable for health. However, it is much more tempting to consume kokoreç at night. 😅
My weight has increased a lot these days. I think it will be good if I stop my love of kokoreç at night. At least I should reduce it.
I want to talk a little bit about the place. We are now friendly with the staff. As soon as they see me as soon as I enter, they say, ‘Abi, I'm throwing half a fully cooked kokoreç.’ 😄
They do their job really well. Even at 03.00 at night, sometimes there is a queue.
When it comes to kokoreç in Istanbul, Çengelköy usually comes to mind. However, this place has become my favourite place. Thank you for reading, see you soon.

Gece vakitlerinde bir şeyler tüketmek elbette sağlık açısından uygun değil. Ancak gece vakitlerinde kokoreç tüketmek çok daha cazip geliyor. 😅
Bu aralar kilom bayağı arttı. Geceleri kokoreç sevdama son versem sanırım iyi olacak. En azından azaltmalıyım.
Biraz da mekandan bahsetmek istiyorum. Çalışanlarla artık samimi olduk. İçeri girer girmez beni gördüklerinde “Abi tam pişmiş yarım kokoreç atıyorum.” diyorlar. 😄
İşlerini gerçekten çok iyi yapıyorlar. Gece 03.00 de bile bazen sıra oluyor.
İstanbul’da kokoreç denilince akıllara genelde Çengelköy gelir. Ancak burası benim favori mekanım oldu. Okuduğunuz için teşekkür ederim, görüşmek üzere.
