Beykoz's Gateway to the Coast - Küçüksu Pavilion/ Beykoz’un Sahile Açılan Kapısı- Küçüksu Kasrı ⛪️

Hello everyone, I hope you are well and everything is fine.
The weather is getting warmer. I try not to go out unless I have to. I'm even too lazy to go out to buy bread. In fact, I've been overbuying bread for the last two days in order not to go out. 😄
If it's like this even now, I can't think about July, August. There is no other problem except the temperatures.
On the first day of Bayram, we went on a trip to Beykoz with my wife and friend. Today I will talk about Küçüksu Pavilion.

Havalar ısınmaya başladı. Zorunlu olmadıkça dışarı çıkmamaya çalışıyorum. Ekmek almaya gitmeye bile üşeniyorum. Hatta dışarı çıkmamak için son iki gündür ekmeği fazla alıyorum. 😄
Şu an bile böyleyse Temmuz, Ağustos ayını hiç düşünemiyorum. Sıcaklıklar dışında başka bir sorun yok.
Bayramın ilk günü eşim ve arkadaşımla Beykoz tarafına geziye gitmiştik. Bugün Küçüksu Kasrından bahsedeceğim.

You can enter the historical building free of charge with a museum card. Before stepping inside, I renewed my museum card over the internet because it expired. This museum card is really great. For 60 Turkish Liras, you can visit museums free of charge for a year. When I first came to Istanbul, I took out this card without wasting much time and I visited countless places.
I took a photo of the door as I entered the pavilion, but it didn't turn out well because the sun was directly opposite. So I took another one after I entered the door.

Tarihi yapıya müze kartı ile ücretsiz bir şekilde giriş yapabiliyorsunuz. İçeri adım atmadan önce Müze kartımın süresi bitti için tekrardan internet üzerinden yeniledim. Bu müze kart olayı gerçekten harika bir şey. 60 Türk Lirası karşılığında bir yıl boyunca müzeleri ücretsiz bir şekilde gezebiliyorsunuz. İstanbul’a ilk geldiğimde çok vakit kaybetmeden bu kartı çıkarmıştım ve sayısızca yer gezdim.
Kasrın içerisine girerken kapının fotoğrafını çektim ancak güneş tam karşıda olduğu için güzel çıkmadı. Bu yüzden kapıdan içeri girdikten sonra bir tane daha çektim.

Before entering the building, I took photos of roses in different colours that add beauty to the historical building. While looking at the roses, I made a gesture by saying nice words to my wife. 😅
After entering the pavilion, the security guard talked about the general rules. Unfortunately, taking photos is forbidden in such places. I am very sorry that I could not share the interior with you. The main place you should see was inside. I would like to give information to be informative. Its location and architectural structure is very similar to Dolmabahçe Palace. Since this place is a little small, it is probably not called a palace.

Binanın içersine girmeden önce tarihi yapıya güzellik katan farklı renklerdeki güllerin fotoğraflarını çektim. Güllere bakarken eşime güzel sözler söyleyerek bir jest yaptım. 😅
Kasrın içerisine girdikten sonra güvenlik görevlisi genel kurallar hakkında bahsetti. Fotoğraf çekmek böyle yerlerde maalesef yasak. İç kısmı sizlerle paylaşamadığım için çok üzgünüm. Asıl görmeniz gereken yer içerisiydi. Bilgilendirici olması açısından bilgiler vermek istiyorum. Konumu ve mimari yapısı Dolmabahçe Sarayına çok benziyor. Burası biraz küçük olduğu için muhtemelen saray diye anılmıyor.

According to what I learnt from the security guard, this place was used as a guest house in the past. It consists of two floors in total. The upper floor is designed more as a resting area.
I would like to rest here for a few days with a view of the Bosphorus. Even a coffee would be enough. 😄

Güvenlik görevlisinden öğrendiğim kadarıyla burası geçmiş yıllarda Misafirhane olarak kullanılmış. Toplam iki kattan oluşuyor. Üst katı daha çok dinlenme alanı olarak tasarlanmış.
Boğaz manzarası eşliğinde burada birkaç gün dinlenmek isterdim açıkçası. Hatta kahve içsem bile yeterli olur. 😄

After visiting the interior, we walked towards the side of the pavilion facing the Bosphorus. The view was much more beautiful because the north facade faced the sea. Since it was not too crowded, we took plenty of photos. More precisely, I took a photo of my wife. 😄
Since her dress was quite harmonious with the pavilion, she looked very beautiful in the photos. I uploaded one photo of it. I uploaded one photo of it. It looks camouflaged because the colour of her dress is the same as the pavilion. Let's see if anyone notices. 😅

İç kısmını gezdikten sonra kasrın boğaza bakan tarafına doğru yürüdük. Kuzey cephesi denize baktığı için manzarası çok daha güzeldi. Fazla kalabalık olmadığı için bol bol fotoğraf çektik. Daha doğrusu eşimin fotoğrafını çektim. 😄
Elbisesi kasırla oldukça uyumlu olduğu için fotoğraflarda çok güzel görünüyordu. Bir tane fotoğrafını da yükledim. Bir tane fotoğrafına da yükledim. Elbisesinin rengi kasırla aynı olduğu için kamufle olmuş gibi görünüyor. Bakalım fark eden çıkacak mı. 😅

After a little walk in this area, we moved to the eastern part of the pavilion. Not only this section but also along the coast you witness a wonderful view. The blue of the sea and the green of the trees make you feel like in paradise. The place you see in the photo is not a lake. It is an extension of the sea towards the inner part of the city. We walked towards the bridge over it, but since it was forbidden to climb on it, we immediately returned back

Bu alanda biraz yürüyüş yaptıktan sonra kasrın doğu kısmına hareket ettik. Sadece bu bölüm değil sahil boyunca harika bir manzaraya şahit oluyorsunuz. Denizin mavisi ve ağaçların yeşili sizi cennette gibi hissettiriyor. Fotoğrafta gördüğünüz yer göl değil. Şehrin iç kısmına doğru uzanan denizin uzantısı. Üzerindeki köprüye doğru yürüdük ancak üzerine çıkmak yasak olduğu için hemen geri döndük

It is impossible not to be impressed by the architectural structure of Küçüksu Pavilion. It is clear that it was built with great devotion and effort. When we look at the artefacts left from the past periods to the present day, they all really have their own value. I wonder if we will be able to leave artefacts for future generations to be impressed by?
In my personal opinion, I think this is not very possible. For this, we need to read history and learn lessons from history. How much of this can we do?
At least we should be able to protect and preserve what we have.

Küçüksu kasrının mimari yapısından etkilenmemek mümkün değil. Büyük bir özveri ve çabayla inşa edildiği açık. Geçmiş dönemlerden günümüze kalan eserlere baktığımızda gerçekten hepsinin ayrı ayrı değeri var. Acaba bizler gelecek nesillere etkilenebilecekleri eserler bırakabilecek miyiz?
Benim şahsi görüşüm sanırım bu çok mümkün değil. Bunun için tarih okumak, tarihten dersler çıkarmamız gerekiyor. Bunların ne kadarını yapabiliyoruz?
En azından elimizdekilere sahip çıkabilsemeli, koruyabilmeliyiz.

I have added Küçüksu Pavilion to my favourite places in Istanbul. I will definitely take my friends and family who come to visit here. Likewise, my wife liked it very much. She even regretted that she had not been here before. If you are on your way, I definitely recommend you to stop by.
We spent about forty-five minutes in the pavilion. We didn't even realise how fast the time passed.

Kasırda yaklaşık olarak kırk beş dakika kadar zaman geçirdik. Vaktin ne kadar hızlı geçtiğini anlayamadık bile.
