Barbecue Activity with Friends / Arkadaşlarla Mangal Etkinliği 🍖

Hello everyone,
I hope you're in a good mood.
I'm feeling great, especially when I'm busy with different things while I'm working. It's not all work and no work. Recently, we had a pleasant barbecue with my colleagues. Actually, I didn't know about the barbecue. My friend called me and told me to come to the barbecue place. In a way, it was a surprise for me.

Ben çok iyi hissediyorum. Özellikle çalışırken farklı şeylerle meşgul olunca günüm harika geçiyor. Sürekli iş iş olmuyor. Geçtiğimiz günlerde iş arkadaşlarımla birlikte keyifli bir mangal yaptık. Aslında benim mangaldan haberim yoktu. Arkadaşım beni aradı ve mangal yaktıkları yere gelmemi söyledi. Bir bakıma benim için sürpriz oldu.

As it was afternoon, it was not too hot, so the weather was ideal for the barbecue.
My friends cooked the meat in about an hour. In the meantime, I prepared the table and poured the drinks. The meat you see in the photo is lamb. Since it is fatty, it is less consumed compared to cattle. On the contrary, I like lamb and goat meat more. I have been used to goat and lamb meat since I was little. Of course, this does not mean that I do not eat bovine meat. 😄

İkindi vakitleri olduğu için çok sıcak değildi bu yüzden mangal için ideal bir hava vardı.
Arkadaşlarım yaklaşık bir saat içinde etleri pişirdiler. Bu esnada ben de masayı hazırladım ve içecekleri koydum. Fotoğrafta gördüğünüz etler kuzu eti. Yağlı olduğu için büyükbaş hayvanlara oranla tüketimi daha az. Aksine ben de kuzu ve keçi etini daha çok seviyorum. Küçüklükten beri keçi, kuzu etine alıştım. Tabi bu büyükbaş hayvanın etini yemediğim anlamına gelmiyor. 😄

It took about an hour for the meat to be cooked and put on the table, and at most 15 minutes to eat it. I wish it was the other way round. 😄
The best part is that you can drink tea and chat after eating. Such beautiful memories do not leave the mind even after years. Another nice thing is the cats that smell the meat and wait for you. You can see their happiness when they leave quickly after taking their share. 😄

Etin pişmesi ve sofraya konması yaklaşık bir saat sürdü yememiz ise en fazla 15 dakika. Keşke tam tersi olsaydı. 😄
En güzel yanı da yemeği yedikten sonra çay içip sohbet edebilmek. Böyle güzel anılar yıllar geçse de zihinden çıkmıyor. Diğer bir güzel yanı ise etin kokusunu alıp yanınızda bekleyen kediler. Paylarını aldıktan sonra hızlıca gitmelerinden anlaşılıyor mutlulukları. 😄

In our culture, there is a term called the head of the barbecue and he is responsible for all the work from placing the meat on the barbecue to putting it on the table.
I love being the head of the barbecue, but that day my friend had already taken on this task.
One of the important points when lighting a barbecue is the place you are in. Our barbecue place was green and quite cool. Our only disadvantage was that we had no water. We met our needs with litre water we bought from the market. Other than that, everything was good.

Bizim kültürümüzde mangalcı başı diye bir tabir vardır ve etin mangala yerleştirilmesinden sofraya konmasına kadar bütün işlerden o sorumludur.
Ben mangalcı başı olmayı çok severim ancak o gün arkadaşım çoktan bu görevi üstlenmişti bile.
Mangal yakarken önemli noktalardan birisi de bulunduğunuz mekan. Bizim mangal yaktığımız yer yeşillikti ve oldukça serindi. Tek dezavantajımız suyumuzun olmamasıydı. Marketten aldığımız litrelik sularla ihtiyaçlarımızı giderdik. Bunun dışında her şey güzeldi.

With the arrival of the summer months, barbecue, camping season will undoubtedly increase. However, when we light a fire, we must be very careful not to cause any fire. There is absolutely no compensation for a small mistake.
I didn't take too many photos while barbecuing. I think I was more focused on the meat. 😄

Yaz aylarının gelmesiyle mangal, kamp sezonu artacaktır şüphesiz. Ancak ateş yaktığımız zaman herhangi bir yangına sebebiyet vermemek için çok dikkatli olmalıyız. Küçük bir hatanın telafisi kesinlikle yok.
Mangal yakarken çok fazla fotoğraf çekmemişim. Sanırım etlere daha çok odaklanmışım. 😄
