My Thoughts on the Movie Sinners!

I watched the movie Sinners over the weekend and it was so worth it. I got a cheap $7 ticket and watched the movie in a super comfortable recliner with heated seats.

It was pretty random that I watched the movie when I did. I knew I wanted to watch Sinners but I tend to miss a lot of movies that I intend on watching in theaters...

I decided to go while eating Chinese food in my car and randomly checking my phone for showtimes.

The movie was really good overall though.

Micheal B. Jordan doesn't do bad movies....

The movie takes place in the 1930's but still maintians a modern feel through the dialog. The movie is in the genre of horor but watching the film feels more like a drama that just happens to have vampires in it.

The movie uses blues music to help move the audiance through the story. They have a really cool scene where they tie in blues with hip-hop and other forms of music that have been popular in black culture that helps capture the overall feel of the movie in one scene.

Black American culture is a heavy influence on the film but it's made in a way where everyone can enjoy the movie without feeling guilt or attacked in any way.

Outside of being a good story to follow, I feel like the movie did a good job of getting its mesasage across.

I feel like the main antagonist was really good in the film. There was even a point in the movie where he had me thinking "I know he's evil, but he's kinda making sense"...

They just did good overall job with the casting of the characters though. Outside of the star of the film, Micheal B. Jordan, they had good familure faces and new actors and actresses that all did a realy good job in their roles.

But without spoiling too much else for those that might like to watch the movie, I'd definatly recomend watching Sinners. I watched the movie by myself but it would be a really good movie for a date night. If I had to rate Sinners I'd give the movie a
