Review: Brain Training - Logic Puzzles
Hey everyone! I just had to share my latest gaming obsession with you all, i recently downloaded this game called Brain Training, a puzzle game I stumbled on recently that’s been keeping me hooked for hours. If you’re into challenging mobile games, especially ones that test your spatial reasoning and patience, this might be your next go-to.
I’m still buzzing from finally beating Level 328. That level gave me a bit if a hard time! It took me almost 10 minutes of trial and error before I figured out how to fit a green single hexagon and a yellow three-hexagon piece into the grid. When that “Level Complete” message popped up, the satisfaction was unreal, i felt like solving a riddle only I could crack.
The Hexa Puzzle mode is by far my favorite. Imagine Tetris meeting a jigsaw puzzle but with colorful hexagons. You’re given different shaped pieces to rotate and fit perfectly into a grid without gaps. Sounds simple, but trust me, the challenge ramps up quickly, I started a few days ago and hitting Level 328 already feels like a big milestone. Seeing 327 / 1000 on the level screen actually motivates me to keep pushing. My goal is to hit 500 before the month ends.
What I love most is how Brain Training balances simplicity with depth. The user interface is sleek with a dark background that’s easy on the eyes, especially during late-night sessions. The controls are smooth, and I really appreciate the little features like being able to undo a move, zoom in, or use a hint when you’re truly stuck. I’ve used hints here and there, but they never feel like cheating, it's more like a gentle nudge in the right direction.
And it’s not just about Hexa Puzzle. The game has tons of other modes like Block Puzzle, Roll Ball, Unblock, Balls Bounce, Swap Fruit, Sokoban, Unlock Snake, so whenever I need a change of pace, I just switch modes. For example, Unblock; a game where you slide blocks to free a red piece takes me straight back to those sliding puzzles from childhood. Swap Fruit is another fun one when I just want something lighter and colorful. It honestly feels like multiple games packed into one app.
What keeps me hooked is how personal every level feels. Level 328, for instance, forced me to rethink my entire approach after misplacing a purple hexagon. I had to backtrack, strategize, and only then did the solution click. That little victory rush is why I keep coming back. Plus, the glowing hexagons against the dark background give it this futuristic vibe that makes me feel like I’m on some high tech puzzle mission.
I’ve also realized how easily Brain Training fits into my routine. Today I woke up at 7AM, grabbed my phone, and spent half an hour warming up my brain before getting into the day. It’s like a mental gym session, but fun. And so far, no annoying ads or paywalls have gotten in the way, which makes it even better.
A couple of my friends have started playing too, and we’ve turned it into a friendly race to see who reaches Level 400 first. Honestly, that’s added a whole new layer of fun as comparing strategies and hyping each other up when we clear tough stages is involved.
If you decide to give it a try, here’s my biggest tip for you, Don’t rush, take your time with each move, plan ahead, and pay attention to the piece preview. That one small habit makes the difference between getting stuck and breezing through.
In a community full of fast paced shooters and endless runners, Brain Training is a refreshing change. It’s not just a game, it’s a mental workout, a puzzle journey, and a daily dose of small but meaningful victories. So, if you’re looking for a game that challenges you, I can’t recommend it enough. Download it, try the Hexa Puzzle, and let’s compare notes.
Drop your favorite level or mode below, let’s see how many of us can make it past those tricky 300+ levels.
