The Crimes We Pretend Don’t Exist: Organ Trade, Greed, and Lost Humanity

avatar

Many things are happening around the world that we are unaware of. Sometimes, when we are unaware of things, we think that these things are not happening. Because we are unaware of these things, we think that this cannot happen. However, there have been many such cases, and if you search the internet, you will find hundreds of such cases where you will see that a huge network of human organs is active, and it operates in different ways. And those who are very smart and clever are able to do all this while avoiding the eyes of the police. You see, whoever does this type of work is also not an ordinary person because their network extends far and wide, and their recognition is very widespread, due to which they are able to carry out such activities easily. These days, times are becoming increasingly difficult, and the value of a human being has plummeted. People are simply chasing money, and some people don't even care how they earn their money.

Recently, I watched a web series called Delhi Crime 3, which focused on human trafficking. It also featured a similar case of organ trafficking. Similar cases have occurred in India. A few years ago, during the COVID-19 pandemic, a doctor was killing patients, kidnapping them, and selling their organs. He had been doing this for a long time. Thank God such fraudsters were caught; otherwise, who knows how many more lives could have been lost. We all trust doctors a lot, and we believe that every doctor, no matter what, is looking out for the best interests of their patients, but not everyone is the same.

Many people also see it as a business, and this can prove to be quite fatal. I wouldn't say that everyone is like this. Many people, or I'd specifically mention doctors, are very good and treat people for free, without any self-interest. Nowadays, even if someone helps you, you start to doubt why they're helping you. And this is justified, because we've heard so many such stories these days that a stereotype has formed in our minds.

Although a person's body is his own, and if he wishes, he can also send his body, but still it is considered illegal in a way. However, I feel that if a person is donating or sending a part of his body as per his wish because he needs money, then perhaps he should do it because in such a situation, he is able to improve his financial condition. But many people are seen being cheated in such a situation because it is possible that they will earn more by selling it than the amount I am telling them. But still, if a person can improve his financial condition by donating some of his organs and selling them, then perhaps he should do so. But you cannot make decisions for another person yourself. If you are selling someone else's organs or removing another person's organs and earning money from it, then it is illegal in a way, and it should not happen.

But look, there are so many things happening around us that we find it impossible to believe, but people are committing such heinous acts and continue to do so because there is a lot of profit in it. Well, people are unable to obtain body parts legally, which is why they resort to other methods, and in such a situation, they don't even know where those body parts are coming from, which is extremely horrifying. My personal opinion here is that if any organisation or institution is found involved in any such racket, then they should be punished by force. I would say they should be put to death because such people have no right to live. To be honest, I can say with certainty that these types of people cannot sleep at night because they are restless in love and they must be thinking about the people with whom they have committed some kind of crime. What do you think about this?

This issue is not new and hasn't been eradicated just because it is not often spoken of. It's such an act that needs very high level of caution and secrecy to be successful because of how much the law is against it.

I think if it is okay for people to donate their organs to better their finance then, it will in a way still encourage trafficking; this is because someone is ready to buy and 97% chance is that it is through illegal means to even willingky sell your organ. How many organisations look stand public to say they buy organs ? Even hospitals would have you go through several tests to know if the organ will be compatible with an available patient.
