From Small Wounds to Big Situations — Why Basic Skills Can Save Lives
In today's time, we must have all kinds of skills because you can deal with any kind of problem at any time. If you have the habit of dealing with every type of situation or whenever you face any problem, you do not panic and deal with it with utmost decency, then you are a different type of person. There are many people around us who get scared whenever they face any problem and become very stressed, but there are some people who remain very calm in any situation. You must have noticed that whenever there is an accident or any such incident in your vicinity, some people just sit in one place and are unable to do anything, and some people just keep on rotting but there are some people who help people and start saving people in whatever way possible or do some work or the other and do not just stand there. See, there are all kinds of people in society, some people are active and some people are not active, everyone has different characteristics and the personality of a person is formed accordingly.
If I talk about myself, I like helping people, but I stay away from situations where there is a fight or a quarrel. but whenever I see a situation where I feel that I should help someone and he needs me, I definitely help him and will always do so. If someone meets with an accident and gets injured in some way, then I will endeavour to provide them with first aid. It may be that whatever wounds he has, they should be cleaned and bandaged. If the wound is very severe or the matter is very serious, then an ambulance should be called and he should be hospitalised immediately. If the matter is not very serious, then he should be taken to the nearest hospital. If you are in a serious condition, you may need an elder sister in such a situation. Today, if you live in a small town or village, then you can go only on foot and this is the only means.
Many times it happens in hilly areas that there is no road of any kind and people have to travel a long distance to reach the nearest hospital or road. Even now, there are many villages where there is no road and no means of transport, resulting in people facing numerous problems. Nowadays, all the information is easily available to all of us, and unless you do a practical of something, you are not able to learn it properly. I have seen in many movies that if the actors get shot or get injured in some way, they treat themselves like bandaging their wounds, or if they have been shot, then removing it or giving stitches to themselves and whatnot.
It often happens that whenever we become an animal or we defend someone close to us, then we do not worry about anything, and we even put our lives at stake. In such situations, we do not think about anything, and then we also take such steps that we never thought we can always do. I do not know much about first aid and CPR. If there is any minor injury, then I can treat it. I do not know CPR. If there are some minor wounds, then perhaps I can heal them and also stitch them. I feel that everything depends on the situation. See, sometimes the situation becomes so critical that you are unable to do anything, but sometimes the situation is such that you feel very agile and you are ready to do anything.
I don't know about major treatments, but I can treat the small wounds. but in case of a bad condition, I will probably call an ambulance or ask for help from someone else, but I will try my best to help whoever I find injured or in a serious condition. Thank you.
