From Hive to LinkedIn: Leveraging Social Media for Real Opportunities
Now, people find out if a person is alive or not by the fact that he is active on any social media. Some people are very active on social media, sharing a lot of their information, while others keep their lives very private, and people are very curious about them. Everyone has a different perspective on living life and seeing things. Some people use social media a lot, and some people use it very limitedly. You must have often seen that some people around you post daily on their social media platforms, and some people post only sometimes when they go for a trip. Everyone has different likes and dislikes. But see, nowadays you can earn a lot by being active on social media and those days are gone when you could earn a good, handsome amount just by doing a job. Now, many different ways have come up.
No matter how good a skilled craftsman you are or if you have some kind of ability, if you are not able to present it on social media, then perhaps your reach remains stagnant, you become famous locally only, if you keep sharing your skills and your content through social media, then your popularity keeps increasing and the demand for your skills goes far and wide even from your city. And nowadays, you must have seen that if you use Instagram or YouTube or Facebook, you see some very funny videos there, maybe you don't even know where that person is from, there are many queries as to who this person is or how this thing can be purchased from him and along with this, many scams are also involved. You should be careful of all these things.
Well, nowadays it is very important to have your presence online. If you work in any field, then you have to tell where you work and what your skills are. Many times, you are lucky and you get very good opportunities. If you do not share about your profession anywhere, then you do not get opportunities unless you look for them. Nowadays, many things have been opened for all of us through social media and through which you can promote yourself; you just need to have the skill for it. To be honest, I use very little social media. I just use Reddit and Twitter to promote Hive. Apart from this, I have no other purpose in using these social media platforms. See, when you start posting regularly and continuously, you start seeing its impact. I have been active on Twitter for a long time, so because of that, my following is increasing there, which is a good thing for me because I will benefit from it, if not today, then tomorrow.
Apart from these two platforms, I am very active on LinkedIn these days, and I have created my profile there. It was there for a long time, but I was inactive there. but now I have become a little more active, and I am sharing things related to my profession, which is having a very good impact. It has been only a few days since I started doing this, and due to this, the growth in my profile has increased a lot, which is a good thing for me because I will get good opportunities for the job I do, so I will definitely try to work there. I am posting daily now and whichever post I find relatable or I like it or I feel that I can add some words there, then I always share some things there which are related to the post, of course and some posts get really good reactions from people and some I don't like that much, but see, I have learnt a lot from Hive. One of the biggest things among them is that consistency is very important, and if you are consistent about anything, then you will definitely see the result, if not today, then tomorrow. You just shouldn't give up your consistency; you just have to keep going.
So there is no doubt that I will be consistent and I hope that I will get the fruits of this if not today then tomorrow and I am connecting with more and more people who are in professions related to mine and I am happy that I have met a lot of people who are from the same profession as me and through my daily postings I am sharing professional related content there and this is also boosting my profile, in the coming time I may take premium subscription there or not, only time will tell, I just wanted to tell you through today's question that how much your presence on social media matters nowadays and if you are active on social media and share good content, then your followers keep increasing gradually and it will benefit you, if not today then tomorrow, thank you, what do you think about this.

Good one - I was probably one of the first Linkedin users in my country - wrote often abozut blockchain, DPoS, PoW, Hive and tried some months ago to encourage others here to make use more of LinkedIn - but a tricky topuc I know how to deal with this platform - my take if we want people with money to invest the right places - we got some Hive community groups there as well.

Exactly! Staying consistent on social media can open so many doors professionally. I am also trying to do the same, hopefully I will grow someday.
Indeed, that is true I am the real example of that. That is great you should try it.
I am not so active in other social media. In case of Linkedin several times I thought about creating an account but I didn't open one till now.
You are right that consistency matters a lot and you need to be consistent if you want your profile to grow.

I've always thought LinkedIn is a very serious and interesting network. I think the perspective you're giving us is great, and it makes me reflect. I really haven't used it in a while, and I should promote hive on it.
Thanks for sharing these analyses!
This is a good one.
LinkedIn is such a powerful professional social media that has added a loy of values to people's lives.
From connecting, engaging and switching roles.
It is also a very powerful tool for people in my profession.
Rather than spending funds on advertising job roles everywhere, we leverage on LinkedIn using the inmail services and message option to swiftly connect to candidates.
Infact, the platform is so organised such that you have everything spelled out for you to choose your option.
Ah, no, if you are not on LinkedIn, you are missing a lot.
Do you know that #LinkedIn has helped so many users connect and get jobs.
Also helped companies to hire pruned and competent hands.
Being on LinkedIn cannot be overemphasised if you are a professional.
