It need a lot of discipline and comitment to stay fit especially if you need to go to gym to do it. Bored, lazy and a lot other things can be a hinder. But yeah, having a healthy competition, at least it will give you a boost to keep into the comintment to stay fit. :)

At my gym they have an InBody machine that measures your body mass index, lean muscle, fat, and a bunch of other metrics. It is fun to have a little competition between my wife and I to see who can improve their overall scores each week. I think having some kind of competition either with others or yourself can really help to keep people on track with their health goals.
