Finding Balance: Work Stress, Friendship, and the Little Joys of Life
Life hasn't been going well for a while now. There have been some problems at home, and the workload at the office has been quite heavy this week. This has caused a lot of mental stress. When you're stressed, you look dull, and your face shows that you're upset. If you're happy, your face glows, and your expression changes. If you're sad, you look miserable, and you don't even need to say a word. If you're happy, the other person can sense your emotions just by looking at your face and might even ask, "What's wrong? You look so happy today." Everyone finds solutions to their problems. Many people relieve their stress by partying on weekends. If you look at big cities, there are often huge crowds in clubs and bars on weekends because people relieve their stress by drinking and partying. But in reality, this only temporarily lowers your stress.

Look, everyone has a different way of handling things. Some people want quick results, but others, with a lot of patience, follow things that benefit them greatly in the long term. Look, if you're stressed, manage your things well and try not to let your status dictate your situation. You can enlist the help of your colleagues so that you can work more efficiently. No matter what kind of problem you have, share it with others, and it will always be resolved. We often think we can handle everything on our own, but when we think like this, things get out of hand, and some people even take the wrong steps. At the beginning of this week, we had two days off, Monday and Tuesday, which increased our workload significantly. We even worked last weekend to reduce the workload a bit. However, the workload was still quite heavy and I faced a lot of problems. But see, there's a solution to everything.
As I mentioned in my last post a few days ago, my friends are over because it's Diwali, and often some of my friends come home during Diwali, and we have a lot of fun. Slowly, the time has come for them to leave. Today was also the weekend, so we once again organised a small party. It was just six of us friends, and to be honest, we had a lot of fun and enjoyed ourselves a lot. A friend had bought an S24 Ultra phone, yes it is an old phone but it is still very costly, so we were taking photographs from his phone and it was a lot of fun, to be honest everyone was taking photographs of each other and we were trying different types of photographs and we were just checking the features of the phone and but in all the fun and laughter we did not even realize how two-three hours passed, we went there at around 7:30 and I came home at 10:00 and this is a very long time, it might have taken us about 15-20 minutes to travel but after that we sat together and told about the time in a joking manner which was a lot of fun.

Okay, no matter how stressed you are, if you go out with your old friends, you start to feel a different kind of fun, and you enjoy it a lot because you feel a different level of comfort with old friends. Perhaps you have noticed this. It is often seen in boys that their childhood friends remain their friends for a long time. Many friends come and go, but childhood friends have a special place in their lives. I can say with certainty that you, too, enjoy every time you meet your old friends. Because they know you well and they know your likes and dislikes, and this is a good thing. You don't need to show them your problems because they know everything about you, almost everything.

I can totally relate to this. Half the time we don't even realise that stress is causing our mood swings and /or health issues. Not turning to drinking or partying is certainly a smart move. I personally never understood when ppl say I drink or smoke to relieve my stress. It just seems like a crutch that's unhealthy to depend on. Your Diwali gathering sounded like such a wholesome break from all the chaos. Laughter, photos, and friends are honestly the best therapy sometimes.
Thank you so much 😊🙏
