[TBT] Visiting the lake in Bogota (ESP/ENG)
Hello Hello #TBT people, how are you? Today I was going through my photo gallery that I have on my computer and I got some very nice ones from the time I lived in Bogota, I love them because they reflect a lot of positive vibes and automatically take me back to that time. It is a beautiful lake that is located in a beautiful metropolitan park called Simon Bolivar in the Colombian capital. Since I arrived in the city I wanted to know its iconic places but I have to confess that I did not know this park, however when my cousin's wife took me to know it I was delighted and especially in love with the beautiful lake that looks like a fairy tale, it reminded me of Swan Lake, although on the surface only ducks swim, but they are very cute, their quacking accompanies very well the birds singing, and all this together filled me with enthusiasm as soon as I saw it 😃.
¡Hola Hola gente del #TBT! ¿Cómo están? Hoy estuve revisando en mi galería de fotos que tengo en la computadora y conseguí unas muy bonitas de la época en que viví en Bogotá, me encantan porque reflejan mucha vibra positiva y me trasladan automáticamente a ese momento. Se trata de un lago precioso que está ubicado en un hermoso parque metropolitano llamado Simón Bolívar en la capital colombiana. Desde que llegué a la ciudad quise conocer sus lugares icónicos pero tengo que confesarles que yo no conocía este parque, sin embargo cuando la esposa de mi primo me llevó a conocerlo yo quedé encantada y sobre todo enamorada del bellísimo lago que parece de cuento de hadas, me recordó al Lago de los Cisnes, a pesar de que sobre la superficie solo nadan patos, pero son muy lindos, sus graznidos acompañan muy bien el canto de las aves, y todo esto junto me llenó de entusiasmo en cuanto lo vi 😃.
Also, in those days I had just bought a cell phone whose camera promised to be very good (by the standards of that time) so I wanted to test it and what better than to do it with nature. In fact I am uploading these photos without running them through an editor (of course today's phones have much better results but this was not bad at all for that time, about 7 years ago).
Además, por esos días yo recién me había comprado un telefono celular cuya cámara prometía ser muy buena (para los estándares de ese momento) así que quise probarla y qué mejor que hacerlo con la naturaleza. De hecho estoy subiendo estas fotos sin pasarlas por un editor (desde luego que los teléfonos actuales tienen muchos mejores resultados pero esto no estaba nada mal para ese momento, más o menos hace 7 años).
I also really liked a gazebo or kiosk that was in the middle of the park, so I took the opportunity to take pictures there, using the automatic photo function, and I loved the results 😍 but the place itself was charming and since I knew it I remember I went a couple of times more, with a good book in my hands and a thermos of coffee 😄.
También me gustó mucho una glorieta o kiosco que estaba en medio del parque, así que aproveché de tomar fotos ahí, usando la función de fotos automáticas, y me encantaron los resultados 😍 pero el lugar en sí me resultaba encantador y desde que lo conocí recuerdo que fui un par de veces más, eso sí, con un buen libro en las manos y un termo de café 😄
The park also has its own acoustic shell which is a stage where local and even some international artists have performed.
El parque también tiene su propia concha acústica que es un escenario donde se han presentado artistas locales e incluso algunos internacionales.
If at some point I had the opportunity to return to Bogota to visit I would love to go to this park again because I love the good vibes it inspires, the air is pure, the atmosphere is calm and it is like the ideal haven of peace to relax in such a big and cosmopolitan city, free of carbon monoxide and noise, it is the ideal place to spend a day with friends and family on a picnic. Best of all, animals can be brought along, so it is common to see dogs walking and playing around.
Si en algún momento tuviera la oportunidad de regresar a Bogotá de visita me encantaría volver a ir a ese parque porque me encanta la buena vibra que inspira, el aire es puro, la atmósfera es tranquila y es como el remanso de paz ideal para relajarse en una ciudad tan grande y cosmopolita, libre de monóxido de carbono y del ruido, es el lugar ideal para convivir con amigos y familiares en un día de picnic. Lo mejor de todo es que se pueden llevar animales, así que es común ver a los perros paseando y jugando por ahí.
For me it was a great experience that I would like to repeat. I love that cities take the responsibility to create and preserve natural spaces so we can rest from the daily hustle and bustle, a place where humans and animals can coexist in perfect harmony, in fact this place reminded me a little of the Negra Hipolita park that is in my city (Valencia/Venezuela) because although it is not as big as this, it is also like a natural lung in the middle of the city that even has a small area of forest.
Para mi fue una gratísima experiencia que me gustaría repetir. Amo que las ciudades se tomen la responsabilidad de crear y conservar espacios naturales para que podamos descansar del ajetreo diario, un lugar donde los seres humanos y los animales pueden convivir en perfecta armonía, de hecho este lugar me recordó un poco al parque Negra Hipólita que está en mi ciudad (Valencia/Venezuela) porque a pesar de que no es tan grande como este, es también como un pulmón natural en medio de la ciudad que cuanta incluso con un pequeño espacio de bosque.
