Tasting Nuova Luna coffee

Hello, hello, internet people! How are you? Today I want to share with you my impressions about this new coffee I've been trying, and I say "new" for two reasons: one is because I had never tried it before, and the second is because I hadn't even seen it on supermarket shelves, at least not in the ones I frequent.

This is Nuova Luna coffee, an Arabica-style coffee, and the best part is that it's a local brand. Before buying any coffee brand I haven't tried before, I always read the label. I have some barista friends who have taught me a few things about coffee (the roast and the type of bean), but one of the things I pay most attention to is the aroma. The more intense, the better; it means it's fresher. Some brands have an unpleasant aroma, which indicates they were over-roasted and taste burnt.

At home, we make coffee with a filter; sometimes we add milk, and other times we prefer it black. When I try a new brand of coffee for the first time, I like to drink it black, with nothing added other than sugar. This way, I can more easily appreciate its true essence.

I absolutely loved it! It has a delicious and delicate flavor, the aroma is so intense it fills the whole house, and that makes me so happy 😄, hehe. Not only because I love the smell of coffee, but because I feel like that aroma fills you with energy. It's a cultural thing; in Venezuela, we all wake up to the smell of coffee in the morning. It's something that reminds us of our childhood and our grandmothers. But I'll enjoy my last cup of coffee for now, since for medical reasons I'm forbidden from drinking coffee 😒, at least for a while. Then I'll return to my guilty pleasure.

¡Hola, Hola, gente de internet! ¿Cómo están? Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mis impresiones acerca de este nuevo café que he estado probando, y digo “nuevo” por dos razones: una es porque yo nunca antes lo había probado, y la segunda es porque ni siquiera lo había visto en los anaqueles de los supermercados, al menos no de los que yo frecuento.

Se trata del café Nuova Luna, un café de tipo arábico, y lo mejor de todo es que es una marca local. Antes de comprar cualquier marca de café que no he probado antes siempre suelo leer la etiqueta, tengo algunos amigos baritas que me han enseñado algunas cosas sobre café (el tostado y el tipo de grano) pero una de las cosas que yo tomó más en cuenta es el aroma, cuanto más intenso, mejor, significa que es más fresco. Hay algunas marcas que tienen un aroma desagradable, el cuál denota que tuvo un exceso de tostado, y más bien se siente como quemado.

En casa nosotros preparamos el café con filtro, en algunas ocasiones le añadimos leche y en otras preferimos tomarlo solo. Cuando pruebo una marca de café por primera vez me gusta tomarlo solo, sin más aditivos que el azúcar, de esta manera me resulta más fácil percibir su verdadera esencia.

De verdad me encantó, tiene un sabor delicioso y delicado, el aroma es muy intenso e invade toda la casa, y eso me pone muy feliz 😄, jeje no solo porque amo como huele el café, sino porque siento que ese aroma te llena de energía, es algo Cultural, en Venezuela todos despertamos con el aroma del café por la mañana, es algo que nos recuerda la infancia y a nuestras abuelas. Pero disfrutaré de mi última taza de café por ahora, ya que por razones médicas tengo prohibido beber café 😒, al menos por un tiempo, luego regresaré a mi gusto culposo.
