Surprise at my job interview (ENG/SPA)
Hello, Internet folks, how's it going? Today I'm excited because I went to a job interview and things are looking pretty promising, so I wanted to write a post about it.
Hola, gente de Internet ¿todo bien? Hoy estoy entusiasmada ya que fui a una entrevista de trabajo y las cosas suenan bastante prometedoras asi que quise hacer un post sobre esto.
I was looking for vacancies through Kuentro (a job search app). The truth is that I am qualified for different jobs, so I had applied for several different ones. Today I was called for an interview about being a nanny for a baby, so I went to the appointment at a Coffe shop.
Estaba buscando vacantes a través de Kuentro (una aplicación de búsqueda de trabajo) la verdad es que estoy capacitada para diferentes trabajos, así que había aplicado a varios diferentes. Hoy me citaron para una entrevista sobre ser niñera de un bebé, y por lo tanto acudí a la cita en un café de la ciudad.
The thing is, when the couple who were going to interview me arrived, I was surprised, because the woman turned out to be one of my old school friends, who came with her husband. I was really happy because I'd be working for an old friend. We talked about the terms and conditions, the hours, and all that really important stuff, and at least for now, everything seemed great 😃
La cosa es que cuando llegó la pareja que me iba a entrevistar me sorprendió, porque la chica resultó ser una de mis antiguas amigas del colegio que llegó en compañía de su esposo. Me alegró bastante porque precisamente sería trabajar para una antigua amiga. Hablamos de los términos y condiciones, los horarios y todo eso que realmente es muy importante, y al menos de momento todo me pareció muy bien 😃
Their baby is very cute and adorable. Also, from what they told me and from what I noticed during the time we were together, their baby is quite well-behaved, very active (but without crying), and very curious. Overall, I think everything will go very well, God willing.
Su bebé es muy lindo y adorable, además según me contaron ellos y por lo que me di cuenta en todo el rato que estuvimos juntos se nota que su bebé es bastante bien portado, además es bastante activo (pero sin llorar) y muy curioso, pero en parámetros generales creo que todo irá muy bien, Dios mediante
So far, both they and I are quite happy with everything. I'll start next week, so I'm really excited, making a thousand plans in my head and trusting in God that everything will go well 🤗
De momento tanto ellos como yo quedamos bastante a gusto con todo, empezaré la semana siguiente, asi que me tiene bastante entusiasmada trazando mil planes en mi cabeza y confiando en Dios que todo vaya bien 🤗
