My Outfit for the Christmas Party (ENG/SPA)
Hello, internet people, how's it going? Today I wanted to show you my outfit for Christmas Eve dinner at my relatives' house. The truth is, I've always been passionate about fashion. I'm a total fashionista, so on special occasions like this, I never miss an opportunity to plan what I'm going to wear.

As some of you may have noticed, my mum (who is also here on Hive) is a keen seamstress, and recently, for her birthday, we gave her a sewing machine with which she has made many things, including my clothes.
Como quizá algunos se habrán dado cuenta mi mamá (que también está aqui en Hive) es una aficionada empedernida a la costura y hace poco por su cumpleaños le regalamos una máquina de coser con la que ha hecho muchas cosas, entre eso, mi ropa
My mum always makes my clothes. I buy the odd item here and there, but most of them are made by my mum because European-style clothes tend to be quite expensive (I've bought a few, like my black coat, which is quite complex and therefore expensive T.T), but I buy items that aren't so easy to make, and my mum takes care of the rest. I design them and buy the fabric, and my mum makes them for me.
Siempre mi mamá me hace la ropa, compro alguna que otra prenda pero la mayoría me las hace mi mamá porque las prendas de corte o moda europea suelen ser bastante costozas (he comprado algunas como mi gabán negro que es una pieza compleja y por tanto salió cara T.T) pero compro piezas que no son tan fáciles e hacer, del resto mi mamá se encarga. Yo las diseño y compro la tela y mi mamá me las hace
This is what happened with this dress. I once had one just like it, but it got stained with ink, so for this 24th of December I wanted one just like it, and my mum not only made it, but it fits perfectly. It is a pearl or mother-of-pearl coloured Victorian-style dress with a slight V-neckline. The cuffs are elasticated so I can wear it with long sleeves or 3/4 sleeves, making it very versatile.
Esto fue lo que pasó con este vestido. Una vez hace tiempo tenía uno igual pero se manchó de tinta asi que para este 24 de diciembre quería uno igual y mi mamá no solo lo hizo sino que le quedó perfecto. Es un vestido de corte victoriano de color perla o nacar con un ligero escote en V. Los puños son engomados asi que puedo usarlo manga larga o manga esilo 3/4 asi que tiene versatilidad
It also has a ribbon at the back that helps to cinch it at the waist and also decorates it by forming a bow. I paired it with some casual white lace-up shoes and a wig (which I styled the day before) with the intention of creating a very bohemian and delicate doll-like look.
Además por detras tiene una cinta que ayuda a entallarlo en la cintura que además lo adorna al hacerse un lazo. Lo combine con unos zapatos casuales blancos de trenzas y una peluca (la cual peiné el día anterior) con la intención de que el look fuese muy bohemio y delicado como estilo muñeca
Overall, I really liked my comfortable and pretty outfit. The fabric is soft and breathable, and it has a delicate design :3
En general me gustó bastante mi look completo cómodo y bonito, la tela es suave y la piel respira bien, además de tener un diseño delicado :3
