My Moped is active again [ESP&ENG]
Hello, hello, people of the internet, how are you? I am extremely grateful and happy because, thank God, I finally managed to reactivate my electric bike. I know you probably don't know what I'm talking about or maybe you don't remember, but I have a Moped that I acquired with great effort this year, but a couple of months ago it stopped working. It was gathering dust in the living room of my house because the throttle control had been damaged. It was truly a very unpleasant experience because the bike had left me stranded in the middle of a trip with my sister, and it was very difficult for us to find a place where it could be repaired. We finally found one, but they told me they didn't have that spare part there, so I had to make an effort to get it home
Hola Hola, gente de internet ¿Cómo están? Yo estoy sumamente agradecida y feliz porque gracias a Dios finalmente logré reactivar mi bici moto eléctrica. Sé que probablemente ustedes no deben saber de qué les habló o quizá no lo recuerden, pero yo tengo una bici moto que adquirí con mucho esfuerzo este año, pero hace un par de meses aproximadamente dejó de funcionar, estaba acumulando polvo en la sala de mi casa debido a que se había dañado el mando del acelerador, y de verdad que fue una experiencia muy desagradable porque la bici moto me había dejado varada en pleno viaje con mi hermana y nos costó mucho conseguir un lugar donde pudieran repararla, hasta que finalmente lo conseguimos pero me dijeron que allí no contaban con esa pieza de repuesto y entonces tuve que hacer un esfuerzo para llevarla a casa.
You guys have no idea how difficult it was for me to get the spare part I needed, but not because it wasn't available, in fact it was closer than I could have imagined, but it was all a communication problem or simply because someone didn't do their job right 🤦♀, the fact is that what I specifically needed was a part that goes inside the throttle control, but no matter how much I looked for it in every specialized motorcycle product store I couldn't find it.
Ustedes no tienen idea de lo difícil que fue para mi conseguir el repuesto que necesitaban, pero no porque no estuviese disponible, de hecho estaba más cerca de lo que yo pudiera imaginar, pero todo fue un problema de comunicación o de que simplemente alguien no hizo bien su trabajo 🤦♀, el caso es que lo que yo necesitaba concretamente era una pieza que va dentro del mando de aceleración, pero por más que la busqué en cada tienda especializada de productos para motos no pude encontrarla.
I finally got in touch (when they finally decided to answer the phone) with the agency that sold me the Moped, and they told me they didn’t have the part. Then I found the phone number for the assembly plant (which is right here in my state, Carabobo, Venezuela), and they said they did have it but couldn’t sell it to me directly; I had to order it through one of the brand’s sales agencies. Of course I did, but more than a month went by and they just kept telling me (when they answered the phone) that the part hadn’t arrived. Then I found another agency in Táchira state, and the girl there kindly offered to request the part from the assembly plant—I mean, can you believe it? The plant wouldn’t sell the part to me or send it to an agency closer to my home; instead, they’d send it all the way to Táchira, far away from me, so that agency could then ship it to me, and of course I’d have to cover the shipping costs. It made no sense, but anyway 😒, the girl finally let me know that the part had arrived there and cost 5. I was thrilled, of course 😃, so I asked for the payment details to make the transfer. But right then she just disappeared; she didn’t respond to my messages for quite some time 😫, and of course this discouraged me, I thought that I would definitely be left without my Moped that I was so fond of.
Finalmente me comunique (cuando por fin quisieron atender el teléfono) con la agencia que me vendió la bici moto y me dijeron que no tenían el repuesto, luego conseguí el teléfono de la planta ensambladora (que está justo en mi estado, Carabobo, Venezuela) y me dijeron que sí lo tenían pero que no podían vendérmelo directamente a mí, sino que debía solicitarlo a través de una agencia de ventas de la marca, y desde luego que lo hice, pero pasó más de un mes y simplemente me decían (cuando me atendían el telefono) que la pieza no llegaba, luego conseguí otra agencia en el estado Táchira, y la chica amablemente se ofreció a solicitar el repuesto a la planta ensambladora, osea, imagínense, la planta no me vendería el repuesto a mi, ni lo mandaría a una agencia más cercana a mi domicilio, sino que lo enviaría al estado Táchira, muy lejos de mi, para que ellos luego me la enviaran desde allá, y obviamente yo tenía que asumir los gastos del envío, eso no tiene sentido, pero en fin 😒, finalmente la chica me avisó que el repuesto llegó allá y que tenía un valor de 25 dólares, yo estaba feliz obviamente 😃, de modo que le pedí los datos para hacer la transferencia de dinero, pero justo allí la chica simplemente desapareció, no volvió a responder mis mensajes en algún tiempo 😫 y desde luego esto me desanimó, pensé que definitivamente me quedaría sin mi bici moto a la que yo tanto cariño le tenía.
But after so much research on social media about the brand, trying to find a phone number I could contact to get the spare part I needed, my sister contacted someone who finally showed himself diligent and concerned about the matter, offering us a phone number to contact someone who would take care of my problem, in this way someone called me a couple of days ago and asked me to go personally to the assembly plant that is on the outskirts of my city (that was the most sensible thing from the beginning, right?) 🤷♀
Pero de tanto investigar en redes sociales sobre la marca, intentando encontrar un número de teléfono con el que pudiera comunicarme para conseguir ele repuesto que necesitaba, mi hermana contactó a alguien que finalmente se mostró diligente y preocupado por el asunto, ofreciéndonos un número de teléfono para contactar a alguien que se encargaría de mi problema, de esta manera me llamó alguien hace un par de días y me pidió que fuese personalmente a la planta ensambladora que está en las afueras de mi ciudad (eso era lo más sensato desde un principio, ¿no?) 🤷♀
I was already more hopeful when I got there 😃, but they made me wait a long time, even they didn't understand why I was there if it was an assembly plant and not a sales agency. I was already starting to lose hope again until they asked me who had sent me there and when I told them the name of the person who had sent me they were surprised because it was the owner of the company 😲, so my sister and I searched so hard, among so many phone numbers and social networks that we managed to contact this man, so they looked for the spare part and made an exception to sell it directly to me and not send it to an agency, something that I obviously appreciated with all my soul, but they also said that they had never received any order from the agency, which means that they made me waste all my time the times I went to make the request.
Yo ya estaba más esperanzada al llegar allí 😃, pero me hicieron esperar un montón de tiempo, incluso ellos no entendían porqué yo estaba allí si esa era una planta ensambladora y no una agencia de ventas. Yo ya empezaba a perder las esperanzas de nuevo hasta que me preguntaron quién me había enviado allí y cuando les dije el nombre de la persona que me había enviado se sorprendieron porque se trataba del dueño de la empresa 😲, osea que mi hermana y yo buscamos tanto, entre tantos números de teléfono y redes sociales que logramos contactar a este hombre, así que buscaron el repuesto e hicieron una excepción para vendérmelo directamente a mi y no enviarlo a una agencia, algo que obviamente agradecí con toda mi alma, pero además dijeron que nunca habían recibido algún pedido de la agencia, lo cuál significa que me hicieron perder todo mi tiempo las veces que fui a hacer la solicitud.
I couldn't believe I finally had that spare part in my hands and that the possibility of having my bike back in working order was getting closer, but guess what? The girl from Táchira state who had stopped responding to my messages finally wrote to me to ask if I was going to buy the product. How ironic! Obviously, I said no because I had to find it on my own.
Yo no podía creer que finalmente tuviese ese repuesto en mi mano y que la posibilidad de tener de nuevo mi bici moto operativa estaba cada vez más cerca, pero ¿adivinen qué? La chica del estado Táchira que había dejado de responder mis mensajes finalmente me escribió para preguntarme si yo iba a adquirir el producto, ¡Que ironía! Obviamente le dije que no porque tuve que encontrarlo por mi cuenta.
While I was there, I took the opportunity to check out the new models that are arriving; they are gorgeous. I especially like one that looks like a classic Vespa motorcycle, but with a more modern and avant-garde touch.
Mientras estuve allí aproveché para echar un vistazo a los nuevos modelos que están llegando, son hermosísimos, me gusta especialmente una que tiene la apariencia de una motocicleta Vespa Clásica, pero con un toque más moderno y vanguardista.
Yesterday I was finally able to take my Moped to the technical service of the agency where I bought it, where not only did the mechanic attend to me very kindly and installed the new throttle control but he also checked everything else, verifying that it was in perfect condition, but what really bothered me was that the manager of that agency assured that they had indeed made that order to the assembly plant, that is, there was negligence or I don't know what and because of this I had to go through difficulties during the time in which I was left without a means of transportation.
Ayer por fin pude llevar mi bici moto al servicio técnico de la agencia donde la compré, donde no solo el mecánico me atendió muy amablemente e instaló el nuevo mando de aceleración sino que revisó todo lo demás, comprobando que estuviese en perfectas condiciones, pero lo que realmente me molestó es que el encargado de esa agencia aseguró que sí habían hecho ese pedido a la planta ensambladora, es decir hubo negligencia o no sé qué y por causa de esto yo tuve que pasar dificultades durante el tiempo en que me quedé sin medio de transporte.
But finally, I didn't even care about that, I felt happy to have my motorcycle bike again 😃 😍, which will make it easier for me to go to and from work like before (and that was the reason why I bought it) so obviously I am very grateful to God in the first place, but also to the people who were diligent in their work and dedicated themselves to solving the problem.
Pero ya, finalmente eso ni me importó, me sentí feliz de tener mi bici moto otra vez 😃 😍, con lo cuál me será más fácil ir y venir de mi trabajo como antes (y fue l razón por la cuál la compré) así que obviamente estoy muy agradecida con Dios en primer lugar, pero también con las personas que fueron diligentes en su trabajo y se dedicaron a solucionar el problema.

I do my own repairs on everything, and have had a terrible time ordering parts over the last 4 months. It doesn't seem to matter what I get or where I get it from, if it needs to be shipped to me, there will be a problem. 🙃
