I went out with friends to a bar! (ENG/SPA)
Hello, internet people, how are you? Last Saturday I went out to a bar with some friends and it was quite fun, so I wanted to share the experience with you.
Hola, gente de Internet ¿Cómo están? El sábado pasado salí a un bar con unos amigos y fue bastante divertido, así que quiero compartir la experiencia con ustedes.
The place was very nice, had grass carpet and was decorated as a tea room. The lower floor has high tables café style with low volume music, it is made for drinks, food and conversation. The upper floor is made for drinks and dancing. I liked the fact that it offered you two options depending on your personality or what you wanted to do at the time (relax and chat or dance and joke around).
El Lugar era muy bonito, tenia alfombra de césped y estaba decorado como salón de té. El piso inferior tiene mesas altas estilo café, y hay música a bajo volumen, está hecho para beber tragos, comer algo y conversar. El piso superior está hecho para beber tragos y bailar. Me gustó el hecho de que te ofreciera dos opciones según tu personalidad o lo que quieras hacer en el momento (relajarte y conversar o bailar y bromear)
We went upstairs because we wanted to dance. So that's what we did, we spent part of the night talking and the other part dancing. On the street at the corner of the place is the "hunger street" of the sector. I don't know if it's a concept that exists in other countries but in Venezuela, in several sectors of the cities there are "Las calles del Hambre" (hunger street) which are areas that are full of foodtrucks of all kinds of food and operate all night, they are usually placed in central areas of the sector to offer food to anyone who is partying in a local or who has a party at home and wants to order street food for their guests or if you're just in your pajamas or you're up late watching a movie, you live nearby and you want to eat a hamburger :3
Nosotros fuimos al piso superior porque queríamos bailar. Así que eso hicimos, pasamos parte de la noche conversando y la otra bailando. En la calle de la esquina del lugar está "la calle del hambre" del sector. No sé si es un concepto que haya en otros paises pero en Venezuela, en varios sectores de las ciudades existen "Las calles del Hambre" que son zonas que están llenas de foodtrucks de comidas de todo tipo, y operan toda la noche, suelen colocarse en zonas céntricas del sector para ofrecer comida a cualquiera que este fiesteando en algún local o que tenga una fiesta en casa y quiera pedir comida callejera para sus invitados, o si simplemente estás en noche de pijama o desvelado viendo una película, vivas cerca y quieras comer alguna hamburguesa. :3
I don't drink alcohol so I just went along with the guys, but I didn't have any less fun because of that. It was quite a fun outing. When we left the café-bar, we walked to the street corner to eat hot dogs and in my case, also to drink a soft drink (we forgot to take pictures).
Yo no bebo alcohol, así que simplemente acompañé a los chicos, sin embargo no me divertí menos por eso. Fue una salida bastante divertida. Al salir del café-bar, caminamos hasta la esquina de la calle para comer perros calientes y en mi caso, también beber un refresco (olvidamos hacer fotos)
All in all it was quite a fun outing, part of good memories with friends :3
En resumen fue una salida bastante divertida, parte de buenos recuerdos con amigos :3
